Night 7 Results

Father Patrick O’Reilly looked around at what was going on. Having waited in the wings, he now knew that it was time to intervene. He called one of his assistants over.

“It is time to call the city into church,” he said. “Go ring the bells.”

St Mary’s Cathedral rang out, indicating it was time to come to church. All in town heard, and all in town came. Those with killing powers on this eve were convicted of their sins, repented for the day and said their penance. They would keep the Sabbath holy. No bloodshed would occur.

(Editors note – interesting that this was done on Night 7, both the Sabbath and also 7 being the perfect number in Judaisim. Very cool...)

The town wanted to finish this. They felt in control. It was time to put the mafia to bed and return order to Sydney.

They pulled Moroney up to Town Hall. They put the rope around his neck. They jeered and threw tomato's at him.

And then 'The King' smiled, for he had paid off one of them and they were now a recruit. They stared in astonishment as one they had thought was in their number walked up, undid the rope, and showed their boss to his car. They were the last link...
