My goodness... Conor is pushing the limits...

Also looks pretty much over the whole thing... I'm kinda feeling sorry for him... Because a lot of that shit is just stupid... Anyone with half a brain would know not to put Conor behind him like that...

Aldo is ready for Connor to lay a finger on him, he's a man in control, Connor knows this and pussies out every time

Did you watch the clip??

Conor more than put a finger on him... He taunted him an inch from his face and then he slapped his back...

He's getting him worked up and it's working perfectly... He had Aldo and his team talking about trying to grab Conor's neck in the next opportunity to get even.

I'm really interested to see how Dublin goes...

And apparently Dublin today was insane...

Aldo came out and proclaimed himself the King of Dublin... Conor didn't like that so snatched his belt off him... The crowd just yelling 'Who are ya?' The whole time...

this is the straw that breaks the camels back for me, i'm done with the ufc. never thought i'd say that, the moment they allow raw harcore competitive fighting turn into WWE, i will now support nate quarry, cung le etc with their antitrust campaign, i hope bellator etc will do more to marginalise the ridiculous way dana and the ufc have gone about sparking a raging bull in a true champion like aldo....it's unprofessional, it's cringeworthy and it's sad that connor macregor wannabes lap it up

This is the fight business son... Emphasis is business...

They are selling a fight.... Conor pulling all this shit certainly helps sell it.

It certainly isn't the WWE though.... because these fights aren't predetermined...

For all the shit Conor has given... He's going to need to back this shit up in the fight... Otherwise he is heading to one of the most brutal beat downs in UFC history.

But please.... This shit has been done before... And will be done again...

Bernard Hopkins vs Felix Trinidad comes to mind...

At the end of the day they are going to fight... None of those antics will save Conor from that.

B-HOP...

My memory is vague but from what I remember at a presser in Puerto Rico he did something insulting to the national flag and ended up having to get airlifted out of the stadium.

And he's one of the most professional fighters in any combat sport....

Edit: I just re-read your post....

I'm sure Jose doesn't really mind.... He's partaking in the whole thing... Hence why he came out and almost said exactly the same thing Conor said in Rio...

He said as much... As far as Aldo's concerned Conor will be another W on his record and he will have pockets full of money because of him.

Yeah I re-read it and realised what you were saying...

I can see what your saying... And I guess that's always been Dana's nature as a promoter... He lets a lot more shit slide than you would normally expect... And to be fair to Dana he's let things go which haven't been flattering to himself... Ie a lot of Tito's antics...

I think if Aldo was really bothered by it I'm sure he would complain... I think deep down Aldo likes it because he can see the dollars building in bank account.

his trainer (pederneiras) has officially complained directly to dana even before dublin, yes aldo is voluntarily participating in drumming up the gate but there's a fine line before it gets tacky and is disrepectful to the various martial arts forms that make up mma, in the process of winning 100k irish fans, they've turned off 3 times as many south americans

The same South American's that love to chant "You are dead!!" Or "you will die" to any non-Brazilian fighter...

Please.... South American's and more specifically Brazilian's are the most disrespectful crowds in the world...

Aldo's a pretty respectful guy... I don't think it's in his nature to do what Conor does...

Other than what he was saying to the crowd today of course...

But I do remember Aldo being disrespectful by shoving Chad Mendes at a press conference...

They all do it to some degree... Just not to Conor's degree...

Here's the Dublin presser if anyone's interested...

Utter madness... The bloody crazy Irish...

If Conor actually somehow proves to be the real deal and wins the first fight...

I'd like to see a rematch in Brazil... And then if that's close... Finish a trilogy in Dublin.

That would awesome IMO....

Now hopefully Conor isn't just full of shit...

I'm all for pre fight build up, as much as I'm not a fan of guys like Diaz, Bisping, and Chael, they added that element of pre fight tension to all their bouts, and whilst a lot of their pre fight stuff got heated there was never much real threat of a Lennox Lewis/Mike Tyson style brawl. The way Conor's been carrying on, he's been trying to instigate that type of a scenario ever since Boston.
I know the business behind it for the UFC but when something happens like what transpired between Jones and Cormier I think it's a really bad look for a sport, and I think that overrides the PPV numbers. MMA is trying to build a more positive image to the masses, the UFC has always tried to sell the classy aspect of the sport, college graduates, Olympians, war heroes, etc shows the sport in a positive light, that these fighters aren't just thugs off the street like many people think but when guys start fighting outside the octagon that's damaging to the image of the sport .

That's why the only people who support Floyd and narcissistic guys who envy him
Or perhaps people who can see past the personality and bravado and recognise that he is probably pound for pound the best defensive fighter of all time... And probably in the conversation for greatest ever.

He's quite possibly everything Conor wishes he was... He's Conor McGregor if Conor dominated the UFC for 15years.
