all that "kimmorley cant play without anderson" crap is blown to pieces as kimmorley has a couple of blinders in a row

unfortuntely for us he will most likely the the soo half and may miss games

Now that this myth has been blown out of the water, what will his detractors come up with?

Oh. I know. He misses tackles on bloody big front rowers. For Noddy bashers, I've seen Webke, Stevens, Morley etc do that too!!! Leave the little champ alone. It was as much Noddy as it was Lockyer that we won the Ashes 3 blot.

Obviously I'd pick Noddy but I wouldn't think you could have enough on Brett Finch to get the nod thanks to Bee Sting head. They are both country too aren't they? So it will be Gower or Sherwin or Wing vs Kimmorley or Finch or Orford. Noddy should get the jump on the Aussie jersey though being the incumbent. Who will the 5/8th be for NSW though. If Noddy is at half it has to be Hill. Barrett can't expect to be there without playing. I can't stand Timmins as a 5/8th. If Gower get's picked then you'd want Preston with him wouldn't you?

Gould will want Finch and Timmins though I reckon. What a joke.

Could be Wing

I just hope it isnt Kimmorley, from a purely selfish point of view and also the fact that Origin doesnt mean as much to me as it used to

Kimmorley should be half for sure. (country NSW and Australia).
There seems to be a media push for Kurt Gidley to make S.O.O.
5/8, half or bench I dont know but the media are pushing him.

No way. If Gidley is a candidate then Greg Bird should be too. :D I know Millers and SS will agree.

although i think ultimately timmins would get the nod my curiosity of how a kimmorley/campbel half combination would go is very tantilising

gould publically states he believes kimmorley to be the best halfback behind johns

the thing is there is a stack of games to go b4 the squad is selected

anything can happen

Im with SS. Wouldnt bother me if Kimmorley didnt make SOO. He would miss games against Manly, Canberra and Newcastle (all away) which would all be tough games to win and could really make a difference where we finish on the ladder.

In saying that i would hope he is the standout (or be close to it) of the series if he does make.

Will be interesting to see how Kurt Gidley goes without Joey inside him...

I think he'll go well. He had a couple of real good games in the 7 jersey last season when Johns hurt his neck. He looks like he'll be the long-term choice when Johns calls it quits.

The halves paring for Newcastle this week will be Gidley at Halfback and Steve Witt at 5/8.

Be good if he does. I like him. Certainly no lack of confidence. And home-grown by the Knights to boot. All good.

Too bad he can't somersault though. He had a try at that last year I think. Made a mess of it and looked like a goose.
