You farkwits paying out Mick Molloy have no idea. Yes its a shame Martin and Molloy folded, but lets just reminesce for a while.

This is A-grade Australian humour, and both were a big part of it. Sit back, relax and enjoy something that the children of today have no idea about. They dont understand how great both were, they were part of the greatest team of all ... The D-Gen. And quite frankly, i've been watching D-gen shows all my 38 years. This one, which was only a tiny bit part of the Late Show, is still the best EVER. My god, my inspector bargearse ...

Quite frankly if you want to call Molloy a twerp ... i pity your tiny brain.

:clap: :clap: :clap:

Finally some common sense in this thread! The De-Gen (esp. mud, bargearse and the late-show) rocks. sh*t scared is probably my favourite memories... or Pissweak world... Or Muckrakers... street talks... Hell, it was all fantastic. A pox on anyone who thinks otherwise.

Hey I haven't called him any names. I think they should get Tony Martin on there though

For the fans: coming out 15 August

Finally, six years after the classic Champagne Edition, comes the DVD fans of The Late Show have been waiting for. Bargearse and The Olden Days in all their overdubbed glory, complete with commentary tracks which helpfully explain some of the more dated references and a grab-bag of extras and bonus footage we all thought had been erased.

Bargearse
By re-voicing the classic 1976 Crawfords police drama 'Bluey' the Late Show team created an entirely new story which is at once a subtle and Bergmanesque rumination on the nature of existence, and a thinly-veiled excuse for some bloody good fart jokes.

The Olden Days
In the hands of the Late Show team the original ABC series of “Rush” became a steamy tale of hope, betrayal and false moustaches set against the rarely-convincing backdrop of the Victorian 'mud-fields'.

Special Features
* Commentary Tracks with Santo Cilauro and Tony Martin
* Olden Days Coda
* Italian Bargearse
* The 1992 Street Theatre Awards
* The Last Aussie Auteur: A tribue to filmmaker Warren Perso
* Pete Smith Sings Aerosmith
* 17 Often Mystifying Easter Eggs
* Something Else

He apparently did 2 shows on the day he died.

He was one of those people that transcended generations. To me, he'll always be Bargearse, with his able assistant Glen Twenty.

Watched last nights and have to say I really enjoyed it. Its starting to flow a bit better now and I hope he gets another crack at a better timeslot.

Gary Eck was on a bit.

They took the piss out of Kev07 and whilst I dont normally like her Kate Langbroek was really funny on it as well.

Its gone from a show I watched and thought was ok to being pretty good.

Keep going Mick and maybe 10:00 could be a goer!

Well Mick finished up for season 1 last night, the way he was talking was that they will be back for no.2 (he kept saying this is the last episode for this current season).

I liked it, again think it is starting to gel a bit better but will need a better time slot for long term.
