I read with intrerest the NRL's back up plan if and when the drug cheats get suspened. All clubs are going to throw a couple of players in the pool to keep the other clubs afloat. Actually its so they can fullfill their contractual arragments with channel nine, fox, telstra and little tom Waterhouse.

Anyway what a oppertunity to clear the decks, The Sharks need a coach, we have the man ready and willing to go--lets move Tim and while Iam sure Anasta is a great bloke, and has great football brain, its not what we require in the second row. Also when your paying a bloke plenty you feel obliged to pick him every week, so its our chance to let Molzen loose. Iam sure we have a few others that could go into the pot.

A chance like this seldom comes along

Don't get your hopes up too much mate.

The NRL would be more likely to make Cronulla use NSW cup & NYC players & allow them to go over the cap for part of a season, then go through with this idea, given the myriad of dramas such a concept would create.

By giving them a cap concession to use lower grade players, it'd mean they can field a team, but it'd be a weaker one, which would act as punnishment as well.

The cap concession would be to cover match payments for the lower graders.

Just my view of course.
