I think Hindmarsh single handedly kept the Eels in the premiership race last year. His running was awesome and I haven't seen another forward who could score a try from 60 metres out like Hindmarsh could.

It's funny how Joe Galuvao is apparently one of the 20 best players in the NRL, when he wasn't one of the 25 best players at the Warriors.

If Lauiti'iti isn't top 20 then I dunno what a good footballer is. Pace? Strength? Skill? Obviously not relevant anymore.

i think you need to base these top players list on when these men havea full team and are at there best.

because i know this past year a few great players havent been playing as good because of there teams not being top notch, eg:jones,kimmorley

my top 5 are

1:johns (99% of the time is the best)
2:kimmorley (can perform majic when his on a good day, has shut joey down a number of times in recent games)
3:jones (another little hard worker who never says die)
4:shirwin (one of the best short distance kickers ever)
5:Lockyer (only placed him down here because he isnt a halfback and there for doesnt have that bit of extra something to make or break a game,dont get me wrong he can make a big difference but if brisi got a decent half then i think we woudl be saying whos that darren fella)
6:campbell (little man big heart creats something from nothing all the time)
