The cook on the fish is perfect! Delicate flakes, just a little bit translucent, crispy skin.

I went down the road a little bit a go. Got some prawns, scallops, calamari, mussels, olives and haloumi. All intentions for the Mediterranean feel......stopped at the bottlo and b ought some beer and Sangria....

The seafood comes in really good condition. Deliveries are on time (which you get to choose). Comes in cold packs and all iced up in case you ain't home.

Better than going up to Costi Bros at Engadine which has slipped into the gutter and is just as expensive.

I was also shopping online at Vic's Meats. They have toothfish. Got my first order from them. 2 pieces, 130 gm each

From Manetta's 2 pieces @ 190 gm each was $12 cheaper.

Moral of the story - steer clear of Vic's. Australian Meat Emporium (online is half the price as well)

Vic's made it's name on Wagyu but it's really quite low quality now. They say Gde 9 and it arrives and is barely marbled. Possibly Gde 4-5.

I was doing Marley Spoon for a few months. Similar to Hello Fresh I think. I keep all the recipes

Well I cooked a lump of Pork in the air Fryer along with the veggies (sweet spud, spuds and carrots) and nuked the peas/beans/corn in the micro and I tell youse what - it was a fhar-can treat.

Yes the talk of air fryers is getting louder, apparently they are da bomb.

I absolutely love 'me' air fryer. Ive got the oven door type one. Not the slide out tray style.

If it broke down tonight I'd order another one first thing in the morning.

How often does beer get in the way of cooking for yourself !! The missus is away for 2 days this week, I have to cook it in the morning before work and nuke it later or it just won't happen.

Yep, Marley Spoon is what kicked off my cooking bug again. I learnt that if you get organised it's not such a pain in the arse. I used to cook contemporaneously. As in be shopping and slicing etc AS I cooked. Made for a lot of mistiming, burnt shit, undercooked shit.

So simple a way to find out HAHAHAHA
