I am disadvantaged this week.
the refs are just remembering their hatred of the Dragons and along comes the bye.
Nevermind I sure some leftover sewer league arsehole will try to make the Dragons byes not worth any comp points.
Actually neither they should be,but that should be across the board.

Do we get Billy boy this weekend? :D- Top ref he is

I don't think ive really blown up at a ref yet this year. The performance of the ref in the warriors/manly game was pretty crap though, ill admit that even though i did pick manly and they were being favoured :)

Cheers,
Moffo

Steve Lyons has obviously graduated from the Mander school of hometown reffing. Manly must be in the shit if they still couldn't take a trick after that performance.

Shit Hit has justperformed the worst 40 minutes of hometown refereeing tonight. I wanted the Knights to win. But the one sided reffing has given me the shits.

This has been a ***** performance.

Yep, Lyons is a hometown hero all right. If I'm not mistaken, we have not had a penalty in the entire first half and yet we still only trail by ten.

It looks bleak but considering Penrith have had 70% of the ball, we are still in there fighting and if it evens up, we can still win the game.

On the subject of the name Shayne, there is a kick and clap player called Shayne Austin. My daughter was passing thru the living room and asked what the hell were the commentators talking about Jane Austin for.

I think it is unanimous, Hayne's performance was terrible. Hard to read too much into Storms comeback, as the Knights had clocked off athalf time, but maybe the result might have been a bit closer if their had been a different ref.

I'd like to point out that even thoughthe warriorswon I thought Clarke had an average game as well. I haven't seen a replay of the game but at the ground he came up with a couple of mystifying decisions both for and against the warriors.

true joe, i watched the replay a couple of times now and some of his calls left me wondering.
couple of times i felt sorry for the bunnies, when clark obviously got it wrong.

spose he was consistant.

i liked ray warrens comment about harrigan and the tunes he was playing on his whistle....even old ray realised he put his foot in it....:)

Yep, Ihave to agree Ted. It was a goodperformance but I have read elsewehere wher the Dogs fans thought they were hard done by on a few fronts, one being the O'Davis bomb. I thought Harrigan made the correct ruling and in the end, the Dogs didn't deserve to win the game. Penalties were few and far between and it made for an open match considering the error rate from both sides was extremely high.

Too bad you guys get the Dogs on the rebound next week and it's very rare they drop two in a row.

Legend,
They are not on the rebound, just beginning their downhill slide.
Personally I hope the refs cane them all year as it just might help balance the odds. You know, a 4.5 million dollar team v a 3.25 million dollar team.
Would seem somewhat fair to me.
Be lovely to see the inconsistency of Doggies fans whinging about the refs, and completely forgetting their own cheating ways.
Just be a field day wouldn't it?
And the little dish laughed as the dog ran away with the spoon.

Were you guys watching the same game? The guy is a f**king joke. The first newcastle try was off a dogs forward pass that was wrongly called, dogs should have got a 40/20 that wasn't called and knights got away with a number of forward passes.

Pathetic

Sorry Moffo, I saw the 40/20 a bit differently. I agree with Harrigan that the ball passed the 20 metre line after the ball had gone out. There wasn't much in it but it was a fair call. I tipped the Dogs so I have no reason to lie about this.

At the end of the day Moffo, Canterbury did not deserve to win the game and the better team got the result. I thought Canterbury were on the right end of the penalty count as well.

Sour grapes?
