Yeah crazy section round here. Look we lost and it wasn't great, but the dragons were playing to avoid the spoon and scrambled well. In the last 30 minutes we made enough half breaks to score 5 tries, but pushed the pass big time. The boys just need to go to ground sometimes. I'd have to add that sometimes even when the pass was good, we dropped it.
Yes it was bad we didn't win, but its not as if the other side carved us up. We do need to play to conditions a bit more, it was a wet surface. The try Mateo scored showed what we needed to do, just play off the back of continual charges with them on the back foot. Instead we threw crazy balls, dropped simple balls, put stupid kicks in.
We just need to regroup and show a bit more patience. Build pressue.
Oh and don't give stupid penalties, I will say it again why do certain eels players feel they can shove the bloke playing the ball. PJ Marsh and Hayne are kings and PJ was lucky he wasn't penalised earlier. I also think Cannings or even Paulo needs to be in the squad, we just need another big man particularly early on. I hope Ian Hindy's injury doesn't count him out. But quite simply one of Chad, Ian or Wags must make way in my view. They are all good players and all add something, but we need something else in the mix and what they add is all pretty similar.
But I really don't think its the end of the world.
But quite simply we must win against the broncos, because while I doubt we will miss out all together, I would not want to be 7th or 8th. 4th to 6th is workable.
So lets just back the cowboys, knights, panthers, and roosters to get up, and we will take 4th spot. Knights have a lot to play for, and if they win the panthers have a lot to play for.
