Patty ran the race of his life last night. Even after stumbling and falling twice, he still broke his season PB. Very difficult conditions.

Not his day, but he ran it in 28:34. The winner ran 27:43, which is a pretty poor time. Last Olympics, Mo Farah got gold with 27:05.

Patty holds the AU record of 27:22.

Anyway it’s not just the triathlon, there’s a swimming one coming up and a running one tonight. I’m not against it. Heck the fastest women’s runners are faster than some of the men’s competitors
