He only said he's going to see out his contract. He's hardly going to coach a club to a premiership and then get into a legal dispute with them over a broken contract.

To be honest, the difference in cash being thrown about is significant but it might not be on offer in 12 months time - given that the Bulldogs are unlikely to appoint a coach for just one season.

If that's the case, he might not have much choice but to stay unless another cashed up club needs a coach in a year's time.

Given that he's got a good squad and is very, very close to his players, I reckon it would take something massive to lure him away.

Fair point, but there's a few clubs that will be wanting one of the game's best coaches in a year's time. It just depends how many of them can afford to throw that kind of money at him.

Bellamy has a job for life, as does Sheens by the look of things.

Then there's:

Bulldogs
Dragons
Knights
Panthers
Rabbitohs
Warriors

whose coaches are almost certainly staying around because they will have only finished their first year in the job.

But these clubs:

Broncos
Eels

are candidates for signing Hasler, because our coaches will both have finished their second seasons. It's not a stretch to say they could be sacked early, especially us who have made a habit of it in recent years.

Finally, the coaches of:

Titans
Sharks
Raiders
Cowboys
Roosters

will all have finished their third years at their respective clubs - Furner will have been at Canberra for 4 and Cartwright will have been at the Titans for 6 years. At those clubs only Henry seems safe, based on current performances, though a couple of those clubs aren't exactly cashed up enough to lure Hasler from Manly.

You'd have to say the Titans, Roosters and Broncos are all realistic candidates for signing Hasler at the end of his Manly contract. The Roosters moreso because they're in Sydney. But if the Bulldogs only sign a caretaker coach (i.e. Dymock) you'd have to think Hasler's already a done deal.

Yeah I agree but not all of those clubs could afford him. I think Griffin is sweet for a few years yet. Kearney would have to have a shocker next year but I think there will be considerable improvement instead. Titans, Sharks, Raiders, Cows wouldn't have the cash.

Perhaps if the Roosters have another bad year, they could be an option for him?

Happy that the other fat pig rooting piece of shit got reported for his elbow

That whole incident is something that still irks me - can't seem to shake it off....

1. Walks out on club while still udner contract. Judas says he wants to settle back in his pig rooting lifestyle
2. Realises that pig rooting doesn't pay the mortgage and bills
3. Prostitutes himself to the highest bidder in the ESL
4. Prostitutes himself to Manly - seduces and entices Parra fans to think he is going back to Parra only to sign with manly on huge $$.

f**king wanker - always will be in my book
