For those of you not keen enough to hike all the way down to Ballina this weekend, there's apparently Jersey Flegg and First Division trials being held at Shark Park this weekend.

I'm unsure of the time, or day, but if you're keen then a quick phonecall to the club could probably sort things out.

Walked in on them last year when we booked to play squash on the same night. Lets just say, not much squash was played.

I wonder when Flegg actually starts, as I enjoyed the few games i saw last year, although this year I'm not expecting we'll be up the top as surely a few of our guns will go to the higher grades, despite the fact Flegg has gone up to under 20's.

I assume it was Wests magpies we were playing? How did we go? The flegg game especially would have been a tough game.

I went along. Flegg got up 7 tries to 3. PL went down 4 tries to 3. Some great hits in both games. PL had a good first half but then packed up and effectively went home. Bronx Goodwin was the stand out for PL. Didn't know anyone in Flegg so hard to pick the best player. There was one guy doing a pretty good Don Tweddle impression tho.
