Watching the game on tv tonight, after the game was finished I, a mere supporter, was left feeling devastated that our season was essentially gone with that kind of performance. Then I see on the tele all the dragons players laughing and smiling as they mingled with the opposition players after the match. Dugan, Frizell, Macdonald, Aitken, Packer all having a big smile on their faces and having a good old time after just producing a performance which has pretty much put the nail in the coffin. We are shot ducks. Its all over again for another year.
The fans honestly care way more than the players....

They don't care. I agree. This always gets me. Suddenly Frizell and Dugan are on their feet. They should be devastated.

It's prevalent to all clubs I agree. It's insulting to fans who care.

Passion for the team and jersey seems to be a thing of the past except for a few players, I recall Nighty looking pissed after.

It's just a job for them now, as shown by a couple being kept off to make sure they'll get their $30k bonuses in a couple of weeks..

Nighty should be pissed because he was f**king woeful.

The players got what they wanted Mary gets a new deal and its back to the same old shit and they still get paid.

They have no fear of getting dropped unless you are Host who got left out for what exactly he would offer more then that turd Packer.

The pride left the Dragons years ago.

Friz, has not looked right for few weeks and Dugan was limping earlier on in the half...most disappointing is Widdop he was on fire at the start of the season but he looks really flat and lacking confidence. Not sure who or what can kick start the players to be playing with passion and pride again..

Don't take this the wrong way but Widdop is only as good as the space the forwards give him and at the moment that's very little. At the start of the season they would roll 70 meters down the field with quick play the balls ,hard straight running and hitting the line hard. I don't know what's happened, there is no passion, I'm gutted.

How typical .............. sign for another club and club form goes out the window.
To me, he has shown his true colours both in signing away from us and now with his attitude.
Totally unprofessional.

You are right about the space earlier in the season ,but had nothing to do with his shit passes tonight ,i would say he has taken the foot off the pedal due to having a new contract in the bag and he isn't the only one .

All the love thrown Packer's way since he came to us has proven a joke he has done SFA except for a few games when he also was looking for anew contract.

It seem to me that the Titans new Mary's plan was to have Widdop the focus for all plays but the one out running. Widdop was heavily marked and as a result played poorly tonight. My only question is:

Why wasn't the B plan rolled out after about 15min when it was clear the Titans were a wake up to Mary's brilliant plan.

Widdop, to me lacks any urgency in his game a lot of the time. He looks like he is going through the motions again like last year ,and the years before for that matter.
