Hunt was poor defensively mate imo.

What did you think Hunt did that made him a let down?????

I don't blame players for poor defence reads in the 9's as its a open style of football and there training all off season for the 13 man game.

Hunt didn't look good in attack IMO.

I think the Nielsen signing is a terrible one.

IMO it reminders me of the 90's players signing old washed up players.

Hopefully he doesn't play first. I pray for it.

That's how I'm thinking too.

Rsag85 for the first half of the season I think Goodwin will be in the backline.

Around origin time I reckon Madge may bring in Goolagong to see how he goes.

I don't like the idea of Goodwin in the centres as your replacing a attacking centre with a defence's one but I think he would good with Goodwin or Gray as well.

IMO it was poor recruiting that let us down, I think souths management was hoping fans and members would forgive them because they got back Sammy but saying that Madge needs to bring up some of our younger stars and give them a chance instead of these washed up has beens like Nielsen.

The younger stars aren't ready yet.

Olive may come in to first grade around Round 10.

I strongly question whether Olive is ready though.

What did Tom do that wasn't good???

Imo Rsag Turner is very good in defence just in general but doesn't make enough hit ups. He goes missing too much. One of Madge's favourites is Turner though.

Of course Cook would look good in 9s--it suits him down to the ground!!

FoxSports report card on the Rabbitohs

Star: John Sutton. His kicking game was pretty handy. He produced a lovely little grubber for Bryson Goodwin to score a try and tried hard every time he had the ball in his hands.

Flop: There’s a handful of players who are designed for this format from Kirisome Auva’a to Michael Oldfield but both were very quiet on Sunday.

Young gun: Unfortunately none of their young guns made the most of their opportunity and really shone.

Key moment: The Rabbitohs were knocked out of the tournament courtesy of a 24-11 loss to Parramatta.

Performance grade: C-
