This may as well be a gee-up, but it is a very large possibility that in 2006 we will have a side in the NRL known as the Gold Coast, with a coach of the name Chris Anderson!

A new team is what Opes wants. So he is a great chance of coach. He tried to start our first grade team from stratch but it didn't work so I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to coach a new team and play the sharks

This would be right up Anderson's alley, especially if he could get involved with setting up the club from the outset.

His sacking from the Sharks could be a blessing in disguise, for him atleast. I hope he doesn't pursue the Sharks through the courts. He has shafted more than one club in the past by exiting his contract early. He should take this one on the chin, and spend his energy building the gold coast club into one that he fits into.

okay, a new club with chris anderson at the helm would be successful far beyond expectations by finishing third on their first season after being in the top 8 for most of the year. The next year they would shock the competition by finishing 6th and losing their first round finals game but went on to win the championship trophy courtesy of a penalty try.

Two years later he will throw a fit with the management and ask for a release from the club.
