Well our first mascot could have dated back to the fifteen century. Henry V11 (Tudor) ensured that the Red Dragon was his own personal emblem before being responsible for making it onto the Wales flag later on. He used it in the Battle of Bosworth in taking over the English throne; similar to what we will do to Penrith in the near future 🙏🙏

The Penfolds what? Looks like something out of Amazing Stories.
Is Penfolds our longest serving sponsor? Dont have the exact # but from memory we must've had them for about 20 years.

This-

"In 1977, Penfolds began what was to be an almost twenty-year association with Sydney-based rugby league team, the St George Dragons as the club's primary sponsor. This association saw the Dragons play five 'home' games at the Adelaide Oval between 1991 and 1995, with the 1991 game attracting 28,884 fans. The Dragons, with Penfolds as their sponsor, would win the Sydney premiership in 1977 and 1979, while appearing in the 1985, 1992 and 1993 Grand Finals. Penfolds ended their association with St George at the end of 1995."

Revealed: The 64-year-old training schedule that made St George invincible

St George’s 11-straight premierships or Penrith’s five successive grand finals in the salary cap era – which dynasty is more remarkable? A never-before-seen 1960s training schedule might give us the answer, writes DEAN RITCHIE.

Only three successive. This will be four. Succession to me is the yardstick to greatness. 11 is in another stratosphere regardless of what tackle rule.
