the quality of refereeing has dropped to pure crap.

i used to hate harrigan after binning 4 of our players in one game, but i wish he'd come back.

Since Super League the standard of refs has been pure crap....super league made the refs believe they were what we paid our money to see - they got a higher profile and became buddies with the players....Harrigan was utter shite in his latter career because his ego went nuts.

I just hope there are more young guys like Jason Robinson on the way cos in my eyes he is a great referee...I don't believe he is a big ego, but he doesn't take too much crap from players either.

damn straight. i wouldn't feed most of the refs and that includes the video ones and the touchies.

umm, all refs are f**ks.

Untill they make it a full time job the refs will remain nothing but jokes. Even lines men... they shouldnt be working as part time linesmen full time something else, raise the pay $400 a week and make it a serious job already.
