Seeing Heighno achieve in the top grade gives me great pleasure .
Chris puts in hard off the field and a nicer young guy you wouldnt meet .

It was awesome to see Chris score two very deserved tries .
It was also nice to see Skando get his first 4 pointer of the year .

What price Dene Halatau being selected in the kiwi side for the tri series ?

I reckon the Rhino has the ability to play State Of Origin even as early as next year!I was dissappointed when we let Luke O`Donnell leave, but i`ve no doubt the Rhino and Boof are both much better second rowers than O`Donnell!!!
We not only need to resign Rhino quickly, but how much longer can he be left out of the starting side?

Mmmmmm.....I dunno about the rhino.Maybe Im being a tad harsh,he does try hard but there is something telling me at this stage he doesnt quite have it yet.He seems to slow down before he hits the line.I must admit he did play well, and I do notice a bit of a ball player there as he was always looking to free his arms up.

I defeinitely would bring Buckets back on front of him.Waits for the hurls of abuse and protest.....

I think one of the reasons we got so many points yesterday, apart from NZ's crappy defence, was that we had 3 backrowers who are the attcking type, rather then the defenisive type of buckets and satts.

Didnt say that Buckets hits the line harder.....but I will say he is a better ball player and tackler.....and thats why he will get picked this week, and thats why you will be ranting about it.

Rhino and buckets are totally different.

Rhino runs hard and straight, looks to offload after he hits the defensive line. Damaging runner.

Buckets is the leadership type, defending, running cross field looking for runners. More the leader and provider.

Why the **** does anybody want or need a second rower to run across field looking for runners?Leave the playmaking to the halves for farks sake!!!
It was noticeable that we managed to score so many points as a result of good, strong, hard,STRAIGHT running and quick play the balls which had the defence constantly on the back foot!!!

I think vicious summed it up perfectly, we stacked the side with size, and played it simple and effective, straight hard running, no mistakes and plenty of enthusiasm.

So with 12 rounds to go and 1 bye up our sleeves, we need at least 5 out of the remaining games to see our first finals appearance in ages.

Fingers and toes crossed.

that's complete bullshit to say O'neill and Rhino aren't similar players. Sure, O'neill has a leadership role in the side...but that is because he's played for ages. It is impossible for a young player to take up such a role. In terms of the way they play the game, both do the little things very well. Neither comes up with many errors and both defend consistantly well every game. I think their running game is a little different, with rhino being the more dominant and powerful runner but these two players are of a very similar role. I think rhino will develop into a better version of O'neill and could potentially play rep footy, as vicious says. I have never seen rhino look lost on the field or be out of his league. He always is competitive and reliable.
