To All,
Today it has been officially announced that the Newtown Jets side has avoided relagation and will remain in the A grade comp for season 06.
Sitting mid table on two wins from five games the Jets now face a tough fork in the road.
Do we lay down and spend the next 20 weeks gettng our arses handed to us on a platter or do we fre up and take it to the competition?
Personally I say we fire. Being in A grade will most certainly scare away a few blokes as the intencity of the matches becomes too much for their pea-heartedness.
IMO (as always) good riddance to bad rubbish.
The blokes who turned up to play on sunday gave it a massive crack and are to be commended.
Those who didn't should take some viagra eye drops and have a long hard look at themselves.
I see this team as Semi-Final material, so long as fingers are pulled out and the hard work is put in.
I will not, NOT, be part of a Wooden Spoon Newtown side.
