Yeah, don't even start on the Minor Premiership talk at this point, not at all. The most hopeful and optimistic I can think of is 4th, and I'm totally content with anywhere in the top. I know we can rise to the occasion and beat any team on our day, so a sneaky 8th place would be fine with me. Preferably a little higher so I'm not dying from a heart attach in the freezing Penrith cold come round 26 though. A solid 5th or 6th would be great, home semi and then a charge through the finals as underdogs the rest of the way.

Could actually pull away from the teams outside the top 8 quite nicely the next 2 weeks if we can beat the Eels and Broncos. The Broncos, Eels and Tigers could easily lose both games the next two weeks - the Eels have us and then the Rabbits, the Broncos have the Panthers in Penrith and then us, while the Tigers have the Sea Eagles and Bulldogs. So if we can win both games and get to 24 points, the team in 9th will likely still be back on 20 points. This also means we should still be well in touch even if we drop a game. With 2 wins we could easily be a win behind 2nd place.

There is no reason why we shouldn't make the top 8, anything less is a massive underachievement.
If we play to what I believe is our potential we will make the top 4.

Start of the season i predicted a 3rd place regular season finish. We could still be on for that, but i think 4/5 is more likely if we keep fighting like we have been.

When I said we are in the running for the the minor premiership, that is simply because we are only 4 points behind first place. Ten teams are in the running (those on 20pts or more).

Chances of us actually finishing first - very very slim.

We did have that golden run with Elliott last year for a little while, while he wasn't the answer he was a step in the right direction methinks.

Fan bias is always a wonderful thing. I recall predicting 4th, thinking Tomkins would be on fire and the rest of our team were about due to click into gear. We are actually in 4th equal right now, so any one of the near misses would have had us up in 4th place...and we are still on target for that finish on current form.

4th to 10th currently only separated by +/-.... one thing's for sure, a single win this year can mean a hell of a lot in the final standings.

I also like it how people assume the Rabbitohs are so much better than us yet we're on the same points.

We must keep winning though, obvious, but true.

just emphasises yet again how even the competition this year. any team can beat any team on their day, (apart from Canberra it seems) and if the Warriors want to keep winning they will need to turn up fully focused for each and every game. And no bs from refs would help too.

6th was my prediction with a home final and facing a losing top 4 side in week 2. I feel more confident now that Cappy has taken over.

This weekends results went in our favour too

We now have a very good chance of 4th place- we only need to get one win or +/- ahead of the other teams on 20 points for that. 1-3 rd is more of a stretch as we realistically need to gain three wins on those teams given +/-. Buts it's fair to say results have gone very much in our favour in the last fortnight.

Well, Roosters and Bunnies have a Bye in hand so technically we need to get 2 wins ahead of those 2 to get into the 4 and +/- is in their favour.

6th is the most likely outcome unless we continue to get results going our way, which as we have seen is entirely possible.

I've got the Raiders as clear wooden spooners, and 6 teams battling it out for 7th and 8th come final round. I've got us finishing 3rd as well ;-) but that requires us to only lose 2 more games and more results to go in our favor.

It's not really a case of results having to go our way. All these top teams are playing each other so if we continue winning we will finish in the top 4.
