The Road Trip

After the performance in the Broncos game, what do you think is a realistic result for the upcoming road trip against the Storm,Warriors,Raiders and Panthers.

Of course we'd love to win 4 from 4 and I think we have a good chance to do that, but I think if we won 3 out of 4 the team would be pretty happy with that.

Thoughts?

Next week depends on which Storm team turns up. They either score big or lose, and it's been a while since we've let in a big score (round 2 notwithstanding). If we frustrate them with our defence, we can win (as we did there last year)

There's no reason why we shouldn't win the other three. The Warriors and Raiders are over-ordinary, and we've already beaten Penrith once this year

we will beat the warriors.
penrith is 50/50
storm we could win, if we play like last years ffort well get home. shutting down orford is a key.
as for canberra. who knows. our team is better. then again we have only ever won there like 2 times that i can recall.
that game we need to stop smiths short passing game, and keep woolford and the crowd from skrewing the refs dicisions for us.

On the Storms form today we're a huge chance of winning.

Hopefully Schifovski has damaged his ribs and is out for awhile,
if so we only have to shut down Smith and we're a winner.

We should account for the Warriors because of travel and there strange form.

Penrith were poor last night, only Pritchard doing anything worthwhile,
Gower is sadly down on form. They've got nothing.

Should be 4 from 4.

I'll be expecting our 3rd ever Melbourne win, and I missed the game in '99 but attended every game from 2000 onwards so I want a 2nd win!

Raiders are struggling with injury at the moment. Warriors are dangerous but inconsistent. The Storm could give us a touch up if we play like we did in the last 50 against the Broncs.

Panthers at Penrith? 50/50.

I'm feeling nervous.

I think we will go well against the Storm, early points for them concerns me though. We will do the warriors in WA.

Penrith at Penrith remains a bit of a concern and the Canberra game is their first ch9 game for awhile and that may tend to get them fired up and a big crowd behind them. We also dont have a good record there. 2 or 3 out of 4 for me realistacally

No one has come up with any logical reason why we are taking one of our home games to Perth and extending our road trip. We are averaging 17,500. Looking more ridiculous by the day.

Sludge used to be CEO of the Reds so it will be a good chance for him to socialise a bit.

I think we should be taking games over to places like Perth but I agree that the timing is a bit off.
Putting in on in between all these other interstate(Penrith's far enough away to be interstate !!!) games & the same weekend as City/Country was a bit dumb.
Having said that I'm looking forward to a week off work to go to Melbourne & Perth.

1 from 1 for me so far.
Hope the trend continues

Thats 2 from 2 for me.
Unfortunately it was the easy ones.
Smith had a blinder for Canberra today, he's the danger man.

The only thing that beats the Radiers is a solid defence and we have that. As far as scoring goes the Radiers will make u pay if u make mistakes ( anyone see Penrith last night). Im worried about how we will go after the Perth match which was very tiring, This will be hard.To win down in Canberra will show how far we can go this year.
