Agree. I'm no judge of these things but it seems to me that there are at least three guys who are routinely not in their 'natural' positions in our backline:
Lomax has the body and key skills for FB - he's a pretty hard defender, good under the high ball, has some speed (although probably lacking some of what's needed).
Sloan has the body and skills for a 5/8 or centre - probably better at the latter - he's a pretty good hole runner and line breaker. Poor defender though.
Hunt - I've always believed is a 5/8 - pretty stocky physique, good acceleration, he's strike-force type of ball runner. also a pretty poor defender though.
I'd like to see a trial of
Lomax 1, Liddle 9, Sullivan 7, Hunt 6, Sloan 3
Who knows?
