FMolo in form is a very good player and I am hoping Flanno gets him back to his best. Same with Bird. Also with the 2 ex-Manly boys and Couchman's playing regularly and Sele joining, that is more or less a new look forward pack that could really surprise us next season.

Flanno has gone out and said he wants players like Dearden and Manu and not Luai. Looks like the guys he is after are ones that will not go out and make public nuisances for themselves. Nothing wrong with that at all. Saints cannot just go out and throw money around and then be stuck with a mess if they don't perform. Been there, done that.

I’m really not sure what the attraction is with Luai. I’d go for Dearden every day of the week over him. Luai is flashy and a bit of a show pony. He is pretty average when Cleary isn’t playing.

Tom's tenacity to come back from setbacks will be a great influence at the club.. and gives us another prop who will do his job on a small salary... even though im sure we are still trying for AFB or Luki or some actual strike.

I reckon BMM will be good for us next year also if hes sticking around. for me hes a bench prop every day of the week.. bends the line.. just needs limited minutes.

DRAGONS TARGET THREE STARS IN RECRUITMENT DRIVE
The Dragons and coach Shane Flanagan are set to go hard for three players in Tom Dearden, Connor Tracey and Helium Luki as they bid to turn around their struggling roster.
The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio reported on SEN radio the Dragons are finalising their plans to make a recruitment drive and go after some key personnel.

“I expect those meetings and negotiations to ramp up in the next four to six weeks,” Riccio said.

“It’s about allowing those players to enjoy their end of season breaks.
“Also to allow Dragons management to get their ducks in a row and figure out who they want to meet.
“That’s where it’s at and we’ll start to hear a bit more about the Dragons’ targets.”

Dearden, 22 has scored 24 tries in 80 NRL games for the Broncos and Cowboys and has played one Origin for Queensland.
27-year-old Tracey has scored 27 tries in 66 NRL games for the Rabbitohs and Sharks since debuting in 2019.
Luki, 22, has scored 10 tries in 38 games for the Cowboys since his debut in 2021.

All three would be great signings and I'd say combined probably makes us a finals team. Adding AFB to that equation would make us a really serious side.

There are still 2 signings I think are non-neogitable for 2024:

1) Bench Hooker - Who's our #14 giving Liddle a rest? What if hes injured? Surely we arent all in on Mulheissen? Who would be the backup 14? is HFinau staying on a train and trial or gone? I dont see him listed.
2) Backup Half & 5/8 - Hunt/KFlan gives us 2 possible 7's, but without Sullivan, Herring & probably Amone.. we dont have really any injury cover bar robbing players from other positions (which are already thin)...King-Togia has played all of 3 reserve grade games also, he is a baby still.

Fullback is a bit light also... we ideally want Tracey as a quality option for Fullback/Wing/Ctr also.. but we could 'survive' with just Sloan and maybe Lomax as backup.. but with Stewart whos gone.. and Rumble whos had 1 NSWCup game.. it's not ideal..

Hopefully Amones court case is resolved next month and we can be 100% sure if we need to replace him or not..

St George Illawarra have beaten premiers Penrith to the signature of former Melbourne Storm forward Tom Eisenhuth.
Eisenhuth was off contract at the end of last season and it is understood he will join Shane Flanagan’s revolution at the Dragons, having become a free agent when his contract at the Storm expired on October 31.
Eisenhuth made 58 appearances for Melbourne over five years, including 18 this season.
The 31-year-old made his debut for Penrith more than a decade ago but only made one appearance for the Panthers.
His management spoke to Penrith before Eisenhuth opted to join the Dragons

I reckon Mulheisen could be the starting hooked to soak up 20-25 minutes of tough stuff. He has a good pass and is a tough middle defender.

He is a bit like Mitch Kenny I reckon. And after 20 odd minutes, bring on Liddle to cause havoc and raise the tempo.

Mulheisen can then either move to lock or go back to the bench.

Not ideal, but just looking at what we currently have, it might be all we have.

Think there will be a few more signings to come.
We desperately need another back up hooker, and someone who can cover 6 and 7.
For me, Eisenhuth is signing number 26.
Just awaiting confirmation that Ramsey and Amone will not be a part of our top 30 squad for 2024.
We have a Australian 9 who thinks he is a 7 ....... If Amone does come back , leave the two young blokes at 6 and 7 then , and throw the sook into 9 ....... Plus he shouldn't be captain of the side , but that's on Flanno .......

One Definition of Revolution
"A forceable overthrow of one administration in favour of another administration"
Yes I can see how he might help with the Shane Flanagan revolution.

Apart from maybe Hunt, he's better than any Dragons player in any position in the past 10 years and you don't rate him ?
