Yes I agree Parko1310 with all of what you wrote. When other clubs compete against the Roosters for signings, you know who comes out the winner nearly all of the time don't you?

They know their roster like the back of their hands and plan well ahead of changes. I'd say that all of the players are checked on many aspects like their used by dates, long term injuries, who might be departing and in this regard because the players respect the club, those players who have a good idea as to where they might go or what they might do, like Manu, the players come straight out and discuss these things and then the club gets the scouts/recruiters out searching every nook and cranny who they can get to replace them and start negotiations on the quiet.

I hope we have people doing something similar as we need to.

His change of management recently and the fact his manager is now shopping him around indicate he's looking for a pay day, which we can obviously afford. How much is too much is the question though for a largely unproven player. If we can sweeten the deal by going after Taylan, dragging down both of their prices I'd be all for it.
