Lomax is over rated, he is fitter, trimmer and that hasnt made a difference
I bet you he'd prefer the ball in a bit of space than constantly having to wrestle in attack.

Sounds like you've really been slamming down those vodkas in your username .........Lomax is over rated, he is fitter, trimmer and that hasnt made a difference
might i add he got done for drink driving at 0.051. the legal limit is 0.05. Thats an instance of having 2 schooners and driving too quickly afterwards and getting picked up, not being blind drunk and getting behind the wheel. Could happen to most of us to be honest. What a load of crap in this article, the Cowboys were singing his praises last year, and the only reason they were happy/forced to let him go was because the Dragons were gunning for their younger star 2nd rowers. So the court suspended him for a month and fined him $300, big deal. The lack of info to the club should rest with his manager. Meanwhile TPJ gets punted from the Bulldogs to pursue a career in boxing, and hello he could be back at the Broncos this year, but nothing to see here, please spare me.
For the money he is on I’d want to see him make a break or two each year. Way too slow for the salary & position. Good player for even 450 - 500k but not great value for 600- 700k.I don't think he has made an error in both our trials. His defence has been outstanding. His kick returns aggressive. His safety under the high ball excellent. His goalkicking excellent. What are fans wanting from him. Seriously confused about why he isn't a fan favourite. Yes he doesn't smile on the field, but most of the true competitors don't. This bullshit about him being unhappy is another Buzz Rothfield/ Telegraph/ Fox dragons hating. Don't give these cxxts any oxygen. The sooner Buzz fxcks off and retires the sooner the Dragons will stop being the media's whipping boy
The salary cap increase means that 600-700K is not a large amount for a player as good as LomaxFor the money he is on I’d want to see him make a break or two each year. Way too slow for the salary & position. Good player for even 450 - 500k but not great value for 600- 700k.
Tracey I wouldn't have minded, but Taafe is one of the worst players in the league. I don't understand some of the hype he got when he came into grade or gets now. I mean he turned down playing in the halves at a first grade level at 22/23 years of age because he couldn't handle it. He made 4 errors just in his last performance, one being a clean drop with no pressure. If Crichton didn't have a niggling injury, he'd be the fullback. Taafe will be out of Belmore and off to england rather soonEven if Lomax was paid double his worth, until we can safely poach above average first graders for even close to market value, it's irrelevant.
We have to pray that this season goes well and we don't miss the next Taafe or Tracey etc.

I dont know how you can have such a strong view on the guy, I guess it will filter out at the dogs, but regardless we still tried to sign him and missed.. we tried for more specialised wingers like Khan-Pereira iirc also.. unless we can actually pluck genuine wingers out of other first grade sides, Lomax is still way in front of SFinau or Tamale.. I know fans want the speed, but there is a physicality to 1st grade that Lomax is all over.Tracey I wouldn't have minded, but Taafe is one of the worst players in the league. There's a guy called Christian Tuipulotu we signed might be in front of these two.'m thinking maybe Cooper Roberts or Benny Rumble possibly take the NSW Cup right wing position..

Again Rumble will play Flegg.
The cup game CT didn't play Sav was wing and Ben Johnson cente, Roberts nit even in the picture. Also Si has been playing right side
One will be centre the other FB.Wow, seems the Feagai's have slipped so low everyone's forgotten they even exist. They might get a game in reserves as well, if they're still around.
Parra signed him and let him go too. Now they are searching for an elite fullback or supposedly soField would be loving life in England, hes like Dufty only he also tackles.. and now he has all the trophies....
It's a bit of a shame we couldn't have kept him here, but I was commenting in another thread that it was 2017 when he ran the length in the NRL 9's, 7yrs man.. thats such a long time.. so many fullbacks have come and gone in that time.. theres atleast 2 new ones coming through every year from SG ball, that get added to the pool of JF & Reserve grade fullbacks..... plus any external recruits... and eventually only 1 bloke plays 1st grade.. 1 plays NSW Cup and so on...... and they need years to develop... so there is a huge opportunity cost given up for the ones you keep.. you have to be able to pick a winner..
One will be centre the other FB.
I'd much rather Mat Feagai at the back than Paul TurnerIs that the best we have available really ? Flanno's done wonders with the rest of the team but the Feagai's might be a bridge too far.
