Doesn't surprise me in the least .......

While with the Broncos he is showing what he can capably do but if with us he might not be as resilient and as good and in any case based on what Wendell has said, he definitely won't be coming back to this club and I wouldn't be surprised that Tristan would tell the other Broncos players to not even bother entertaining any talks with the Dragons to join the club.

We should be targeting bevan French to play 6, whether hunt stays or goes. Would give us 2 electric and quick spine options with Sloan. Off contract 2024 and was the 2023 man of steel above other superstars like Dodd and Weslby and has expressed a desire to return to the nrl

What follows makes me puke. Bloody Norman getting the nod rather than Tristan -

“Tristan loved the Dragons more than me,” Wendell said.

“They picked Corey Norman and that’s fine, I understood that, but Tristan went from starting, to the bench, to 18th man, to No. 21 and 22 and out of the squad with no reason at all as to why."

Anyone know anything about this guy?

EXCLUSIVE: Andrew Johns pinpoints a teen Eels star who could hold the key to $800,000 Zac Lomax conundrum

Andrew Johns has urged St George Illawarra to pursue the signature of a gun Parramatta junior using the money freed up by Zac Lomax's departure.
The Dragons this week announced Lomax will be released at the end of this year, freeing up $800,000 on their salary cap for 2025 and again for 2026.
While they've been linked to the likes of Storm behemoth Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Panthers winger Sunia Turuva, Johns thinks the Red V should go down an entirely different path.

He says the Dragons should chase Eels youngster Ethan Sanders.
Sanders, 18, is considered one of the game's most promising young halfbacks, but he's battling to get a look-in at Parramatta.

Even after a long-term injury to veteran No.7 Mitchell Moses last week, Eels coach Brad Arthur decided to put Blaize Talagi into the halves after making his debut at centre a week earlier.
Dragons halfback Ben Hunt is 34 years old, while his partner Kyle Flanagan has struggled to make his mark in the NRL over seven seasons to date.
"Ben Hunt is coming to the end... they've got to buy a half or a five-eighth," Johns told Wide World of Sports''
"Go and find the best young half or five-eighth in the country, or go to England, go to New Zealand, buy the best 18-year-old.
"Young bloke at Parramatta, Ethan Sanders, he would be the bloke I'd be going after.
"I've been watching lower grades closely the last couple of years - he is the next one. He's the next one that should be given an opportunity.

"He's the next one who is ready to go."
According to a Sydney Morning Herald report in February, Canberra has been trying to lure Sanders to the nation's capital.
He is off contract with the Eels this year and his future is very much up in the air, given his pathway at the club is currently blocked.
But due to the NRL's contract rules around young players, Sanders is unable to negotiate with rival clubs until after round six this season.
If the Eels consider Sanders surplus to requirements, the Dragons could conceivably start negotiating with him in a fortnight's time.
Intriguingly, Lomax has also been trying to gain a release from the Red V so he can join Parramatta this season, but it has so far been denied.

Lomax, 24, is one of St George Illawarra's most talented players but has been disgruntled since new coach Shane Flanagan moved him to the wing this year.
The Eels are understood to be keen to play Lomax in his preferred centre position.
League legend Brad Fittler, though, can't understand why Lomax would want to play in the three-quarters rather than on a wing.
"Getting told what to do is so much easier. Get out there Zac, get on the wing, stop thinking and play. He's going great," Fittler told Freddy and the Eighth.
"I don't know why he would want to change - he gets more ball now than he ever has, he gets more chance to play footy... why would you want to change?
"Why would you be a centre? A centre in today's game is awful."

Every club has similar stories of favoured local clubs and nepotism etc.
Wendell may be right but he comes across as a bitter bloke.
He wanted the club to resign Tristan they didn't. They made a choice to move him on rightly or wrongly.
His son was at the end of his contract. He had just been accused of rape. Meanwhile, the dragons were also dealing with DeBelin’s rape case at the same time. What did Sailor expect? The dragons did nothing wrong by not resigning him. Sailor’s lost his marbles

Unless I’m not remembering properly, I don’t recall Sailor even showing that much when he was with us
Good point. How many 1st grade games has he played since he left us. OK broncos signed him to mostly play Q cup. So wanted was he here he was about to get on plane to play in England until Broncos kyboshed it, lucky for them funnily enough due to Walsh injury.
He seems OK when stepping up but not enough to attract anyone to play 1st grade in the halves or 1.

This...however the decision not to resign him was before his accusations and charges.

I remember he was off contract at the time, and the club hadn’t said anything. So a few people were jumping up and down wondering what was going on. Then it came out in the news that he was being accused of rape. I could be wrong though. It wouldn’t be the first time.
