Stewart is extremely tall though, not much of a difference between him and Tonga, hopefully its one of their advantages.... but otherwise I think they will prove to be quite different players.. Tonga I think will be more explosive and probably bigger collisions, but we will find out more soon enough.. both of them are still making the adjustment to NSW Cup, even Stewart was in and out of Flegg last year.
I guess 106kg max for Hamish

it’s actually bloody remarkable to have 3 tall light and young middles in the 17

I mean can anyone think of any other NRL pack that has 3 such young lanky middles

I think in part it is a sign of the times in the NRL where they can survive vs the days of taking out the young guys head high and killing them

now more than ever it is a wrestle in defence vs a seek and destroy

but it is also an amazing achievement for the Couchman and Stewart to be so young and in the NRL as props / middles

Anyone know how tall and what weight Hamish Stewart is please?

there a picture next to Egan who is 182. He looks 10-15cm taller, but I think shorter than Loko, so 193 could be correct, maybe a touch taller?

he doesn’t have the bulk of Loko, 100kg could be right, that’s harder to guess tbh

Super light and lanky for a very young middle

But he has impact and he offers a lot in attack near the line

4pts is strong score board pressure especially if doing a BMM role 20-30mins per game

Height is good for offloads.

All for getting rid of Lawrie but it will still leave us short a middle once Klemmer comes over due to this ongoing Molo situation.

I would like to see Lawrie play before we let him go. He was very good in 23 and the opposite in 24. He has trimmed down and may be OK. Good person who has been great with the Molong colt. Rava was never any good in defence and never will be.

Oh God can people stop it with this nonsense that Lawrie was "very good in 23"? No he wasn't. Being voted "players player" by the shameful rabble of pea hearts that were one of the worst Dragons teams to ever stain the jersey is nothing to boast about. He was bog average in 2023. Bog average when the rest of the team was f#$^ing deplorable. The fact that he stood out in some poor judges eyes just demonstrates how utterly terrible the rest of the team was. We missed the spoon by a bee's dick.
Lawrie was never ever, EVER "very good".
