Bringing young juniors through is a cost saving that leaves room in our cap for the recruitment of marquee players. We need to identify players who we can let go to make way for these marquee players.

im just saying Luc suddenly had his starting role taken over by Egan (after a few games of NRL - incredible)

JDB has found himself moving between starting and bench vs Stewart

Couchman T jumped ahead this season to be a starting player in the pack..........obvious that he is not an NRL elite prop (despite very good games early season pre injury) yet but he killed at right second row on the wknd

I truly think our team knows that Flano is not scared to challenge indv performance of regular starting players vs the emerging that are serious young players and doing better stats than their elder statesman

T Couchman has a window this week and next to smash Sua in stats like he did on the wknd

So what do you do with that performance.............? recognise it or park it ?

I dont think there is much parking with this swell of talent moving into our top17

Some players are very good for impact. Thats what Billy Slater doesnt understand. Use of the bench has become key in the modern game.

Bringing JDB on off the bench worked wonders on friday. Luciano for mine has still been playing too many minutes, i'd like him to get 40 mins max, he draws in heaps of defenders each run and has great hands, but if he tires out he is very bad laterally (KPP Scored thru him on friday). I think this has been flannos intention but last 2 weeks has been forced to bring him on early due to injury.

Any chance of Hass moving from Brisbane would have to include a package for his siblings to attend school & housed etc, as he is their Guardian.

I wonder if Couchman could do the same on the left edge. Su'A is one of our best forwards and Leilu is one of our laziest. Eagan quickly went past Leilua and so I wonder if Chouchman could do the same.

There was something on the 26th I saw on Facebook. Sounded like he is keen to make a difference, only time will tell.

You would think the media would be all over it but this Galvin drama has overshadowed everything. Did anyone notice Origin was on during that week Gus fibbed? Origin talk was far less than usual in the press leading up to game 1.

All year it's been about Dylan Brown, DCE and Galvin. Hardly much about footy. Good to see no Saints players hogging the headlines....Not yet anyway.
