in reality what good would cobbo have been for 18 months ? this year would be a right off by the time he got fit so we would have him for 26 and then have to hit the market to replace him

The Board signed Flanno on the condition that D Young be the assistant coach. And with D Young to take over once Flanno got things cleaned up. Young would never have got the job without his daddy's influence.

Dumb signings Dragons are signing duds and average players . Why sign Gardner from Penrith we need a big prop and leader again disappointing we didn't offer JD another year has more passion for the red v then any other Dragon.

Same @Gareth67 . In a nutshell we need more than a serviceable half....

Kyle was originally bought in as a 14.... Then the loss of Armone etc...

Atkinson is an upgrade but we need a Marquee Half.....we are so far off the pace its not funny.

Look at the Bullgrubs and penrith tonight.... Next level standard...we couldn't play more than 20 minutes at that intensity.

As much as I hate to say it you have to applaud Gould... Look at Kurt Mann under their system..

Usually teams get audited for over spending the cap, but perhaps we should get audited for under spending. The NRL should still have a vested interest, where exactly is the cap money, including NRL grant, being spent? There is no way we have spent our total cap money, for a few seasons now.

I’m as angry as everyone else on the forum about our club and how it is run…. but if you look at where we sit on 16 points…IF we had won the 2 games we lost by 1 against rabbits and eels … and we should have won…. we’d be on 20 pints…and right in the mix. I’d we’d beat the warriors which we lost by 1…we’d be top 6….not saying we deserve to be but for a substandard roster what could have been… but won’t be this season!!!

The NRL have a huge issue interpreting hits to the head.
The To'o tackle on Xerri was as a perfectly executed tackle. To'o hit him so hard Xerri's head whiplashed like 90 degrees into To'o. This was not a head-high tackle.

This NRL draw can be so lopsided...You can tend to get an easier draw to some
We have also had our three buys , and after Parra our horror stretch starts
Just watch a replay of last nites Panthers- Dogs clash to see , realistically , how far behind the others we really are...

FYI.
This was as per an interview aired on the radio this morning (possibly taped from the night before??).
This morning the Dolphins announce the signing of Cobbo.
Have been saying for many years now that you can never really believe what is said by club officials, coaches and players etc about player movements.
Just on a different note.
Kent saying De Belin was on $300K at the Dragons is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard.
