If he doesn't honour is current contact I will lose a lot of respect for him. He talks about how much Mary has done for him turning him from a part timer to a full timer etc but more people were involved in his rise than Mary. It was Peter Mulholland who initially wanted to sign him. And a lot of people are involved in signing a player. I really hope he stays on and we have a good year and changes his mind. I really think he will improve under Hook. I get the vibe he has a simple no nonsense gameplan that will suit a player like him. Macca, Hunt and Norman played in a GF under Hook, I really hope he doesn't have some grand plan to reunite them to go one better together. That would be huge mistake, we need to look to the future they just aren't premiership winning players to me. He should focus on the young Illawarra boys that all won a GF together in the lower grades.McInnes has a year to go on his contract.Griffin should ensure he plays this year and then if he wants to go fine.
If the Tigers want him bad then they should make a commensurate trade with a origin squad player.
Sounds like using the sacking means he doesn’t have to use the massive payrise he’ll get from us instead. Only McInnes and Mary could possibly think he shouldn’t have been sacked. He’s said all along he wants to play 9 not 13 but he will be playing 13 if he wants to come to us. We have so much money and nowhere to spend it. No doubt it will cost us some money plus a trade. Which of our players could you possibly want though? You can have Packer if you like. Oh, and has he seen our coaching history since Sheens left? Very strange.
Mbye! Deal done. Will a handshake do?McInnes has a year to go on his contract.Griffin should ensure he plays this year and then if he wants to go fine.

I would take Luke Brooks, he can come and play 9 for us.Mbye! Deal done. Will a handshake do?
You guys might dislike your halves, but gees look at ours. Both bottom 4 for sure.I would take Luke Brooks, he can come and play 9 for us.
No we want better. We want your..your..your...Mbye! Deal done. Will a handshake do?
As a half yes, but I reckon he should be playing 9. He’s like Hunt, he just not a game manager, but he’s fast and has some good skills. I’m half joking about wanting him but I’d take him or Mbye or Billy Walters over Macca. You guys might dislike your halves, but gees look at ours. Both bottom 4 for sure.

Rising Broncos superstar to test the market - but it’ll cost NRL rivals $700k to poach him
Broncos centre Kotoni Staggs is set to hit the open market
Young gun Brisbane Broncos centre Kotoni Staggs will test his value on the NRL’s open market next week with rival clubs tipped to need in excess of $700,000 a season to convince him to leave Red Hill.
Staggs, 22, is regarded among the most damaging young centres in the NRL and was consistently one of the Broncos’ best players despite a lean 2020 for the club.
The Broncos centre is expected to be ruled out until at least Round 10 this year after undergoing off-season surgery on an ACL injury sustained in Round 20 last year.

But the injury issue won’t stop rival NRL clubs from pitching to convince free agent Staggs to sign with them for 2022.
Staggs’ agent, Isaac Moses, has emailed clubs asking them to signal interest in speaking with the Broncos centre via Zoom next week.
Moses is set to be deregistered by the NRL but is still allowed to go about business as usual until the NRL Appeals Tribunal hands down a final verdict on how long he is rubbed out for.
To convince Staggs to even consider leaving the Broncos, rival clubs are expected to need to offer in excess of $700,000 per season.
Staggs was signed by the Broncos as a teenager playing for Wellington in country NSW and scored 10 tries in 14 NRL appearances last year to be Brisbane’s top tryscorer.
New Brisbane coach Kevin Walters views the X-factor centre as a huge part of the Broncos plans beyond this season and aims to retain the Wellington junior.

“Kotoni was probably the Broncos best player last season and we certainly see him as being a crucial part of our future plans at Brisbane,” Walters said.
“We understand players may want to test their value on the market but we’re also very confident with what the Broncos can offer as a club.”
As always, Staggs isn’t the only young gun player on the Broncos’ roster who has caught the attention of rival clubs.
Xavier Coates handled the State of Origin arena on debut for Queensland last year and has already met with Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy and new Nroth Queensland coach Todd Payten about 2022.

The Gold Coast Titans have also recently expressed an interest in signing Coates.
Then there is young gun backrowers Jordan Rikki – who made his NRL debut last year – and Brendan Piakura, both guaranteed to be heavily targeted by rival clubs.
Walters told Fox Sports the Broncos will be fighting hard to retain their young gun talent.
“We want to keep all of them,” the Broncos coach said.

Completely agree. We have very few players anyone would want. We are improving our FB with Laurie and our lock with McInnes. If you lose McInnes to us then you guys are crazy. If you sign Macca for 3 years as his replacement then you are even crazier! Goodluck! No we want better. We want your..your..your...
Matterson, no... he is already gone to Parra
Ahm Aloiai..nup he is gone to Manly
How about JAC...no..he did not sign with you
Forget it... no trade, you keep your lot. Musgrave snubbed us too!
Hopefully we can convince Cam greener pastures are in red and white.
I thought Tigers have been doing all this $$$ spending......where are they all?
And people reckon we have the worst squad. if so Tigers are very close ATM
