We still need another front rower, even if we have got George Burgess. I am a Klemmer fan. I believe his form is down due to not getting along with O'Brien. At 27 years of age, great stats ever since he has played NRL, no reason why his best years aren't still ahead of him. I would prefer him over Finucane who's career is winding down. Let the Sharks spend the 2 mill required for his last 3 years. Could be another Josh Dugan like signing for them.

However, the one guy I would like us to dangle a carrot at over both of them props is tall, powerful, runs all day, and definitely has his best years ahead of him is Kamikamica. Not sure of his contract situation currently, but that doesn't seem to be a problem these days. The guy is a beast.

If they stay injury free I can see Top 8

How do we even know if Fitzgibbon can coach on his own

He knows how to recruit Roosters style but does he know how to do it with a Salary Cap - like a proper real one ?

As for Finucane... Apparently it's a 5 or 6 horse race to capture him. In the past I don't remember winning too many 2 horse races for players, so while I believe he would be a top signing for under 650 @ 3 years, I won't be holding my breath.

As desperate as we are for quality players, no thanks.

This year he has played fullback, lock, half and hooker for the knights. he is the perfect 14 for us.

last week he rejected the knights offer, so he is unisigned for nrext year.

Watson is quiet tuff has well i don't think nikorima would be as well suited to the hooker role.

I’m ok with Watson, we need a utility but not at top dollar. If Watson is affordable then I say go for it. He was dynamic at the Roosters but fallen off the radar at Newcastle but he’s not the first player to dip at Newcastle just look at Klemmer. He was an international before going to Newcastle.

I like Klemmer too, he’s a player who’d improve at a new club. Look at Tariq? He never played Origin before coming to Saints.

Does anyone have any info on Treymain Spry? He’s a very highly rated young outside back just released by the Titans for undisclosed off field issues. Normally a player like that would be a hard no from me but we’re so light in the centres I’m open to anything.
