This happens at a lot of clubs a few years ago some mates of mine went to a Roosters v Bulldogs match were offered Roosters membership it was cheaper to become a member than to pay admission to the game this was on Roosters last home game for the year they were given merchandise as well all being Dogs supporters they gave it all away some put in the rubbish bin.Y
Yes but it is not 20,000 members parting with their hard earned for the whole year in the sense of real membership.
It includes the token free memberships given out to boys and girls at schools across the region and others linked to sponsors. (which is a good idea to try and drum support mind you)
+ if someone buys a 3-4 game pass to matches. That is a member
