Not to mention Walker has a fair few defensive deficiencies but his coach is smart enough to realise his value in attack and thus accepts his pros and cons.I hope you’re wrong Slippery but history tells us this is the more likely scenario. I’d be playing him at 5/8 or half and sticking with him. Roosters have 2 of the smallest halves in the comp and they have come along nicely under the tutelage of a good coach.

‘I love him’: Lomax’s regret from ‘absolute rubbish’ Frizell moment as Red V pressure rises
Lomax reveals regret from ‘absolute rubbish’ Frizell moment that left NRL stunnedwww.foxsports.com.au
Some good words here from Zac. All of us, myself included, I'm sure were critical of him at different stages last year, but lets hope he can turn it around. He's one of my tips to have a massive year this season.
Surely you are kidding right? If the Frizz rumour is true, I'd be doing everything possible to get him back.
I hope you are right! You can say that this came straight from the horse’s mouth !

It was more wishful thinking than anything . And all that you have said is right on the money ,however the chap should never had been signed , as simple as that .Woods should be ashamed of his efforts last year, he should hand back our money. His stats were not just the worst of his career by a long shot but they showed he was just along for the ride and didn't give a sh*t about the jersey or his team mates. His runs, tackle breaks, pcm's, av mtrs, defence and even off-loads were all well down on previous years, some by as much as 50% worse, it's a joke. It also shows what a weak character our coach is to let Woods get away with it. I can't see it being any different this year. He should be left in reserves where he can't embarrass us any further.
Well jak old son should he earn his money and a extension , then we may have to get the maestro back for some 1 on 1 training ?hope your right ol fela , but if he has a breakout year you do realize that will be followed by a 2 or 3 year extension.

gareth, when you use the term maestro im assuming your referring to a mere mortal such as our old mate mary or, im holding my breath as i type this are you yourself thinking about a comeback to save our once great club. ps please be true i know you have the time since you got the lawn problem worked outWell jak old son should he earn his money and a extension , then we may have to get the maestro back for some 1 on 1 training
Personally, I think Woods is better suited to be a PR/media spokesperson
Of course, "outstanding" is a nicely vague and ambiguous word.I think he could be worse there...he just said that recently sacked Mat Head and Peter Gentle were "outstanding " last year while also confirming that the newly arrived replacement assistant coaches are ( in his words ) " outstanding" ....that certainly indicates an outstanding move in the right direction !
It went kinda like this. This has been one sad off season.
At least we're consistent.
These people run a multimillion dollar business. They have for the want of a better word shareholders that number in the tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands. Now the market looks at this business and on balance the overwhelming view is it's a lemon. Not the fundamental view of the balance sheet but more so market sentiment. And this sentiment is driven largely by one thing, the lack of hope being offered that things can turn around. It went kinda like this.
Where are all the signings? After the World Cup is finished…
Where are all the signings? After the salary cap increases…
Hang on, we really only signed a few Tigers rejects? Are you serious?
Ohh and Craig Young got sacked, Amone attacked someone with a hammer, found out poor Cody isn’t well.
Did I miss anything?
This once proud club is now a total basket case. All they need is one decent signing, doesn't matter if it's the playing roster or coaching staff. Just one to show they're willing and able to point the dial north. Instead we've see nothing but inaction and what looks like incompetency. How they've not been able to secure one above average player for 2023 defies logic. Now every one of us supporters who are happy to have independent and logical thought look at season 2023 as already over, little to no interest simply because that's the lead these custodians of the club have shown.
If by end of season I have the opportunity to eat my words I'd be more than happy to give credit to the club, I'd renew membership and buy merchandise. But for now all I feel is negativity and no respect for the way the club has handled things
