Just imagine if all the commentators and all of the player managers hated the Dragons. We would have b grade players in our squads. I mean even if we had great juniors and we want to keep them, if their managers hated us then we don't keep them.

This is the stupid thing about bloody Anasta and his hate of the Dragons probably just because we thrashed his Roosters team in the 2010 Grand Final.

Player Managers suck. They can muck your roster up so much. Managers in general just seem to have too much control over players, staff, coaches - crazy.
Welcome to pro sport. That is exactly the role of a manager, The commentators and PM's go hand in hand, otherwise they would have nothing to talk about without their intel PM's feeding them
PM's get to promote their players in the media to get $$ for their player and themselves especially when it comes to contract stage or even rep selection, but it comes at a cost, It is a perfect storm.
We all ask ourselves why does such player hit good form at the right time.

Yeah, for example get the player to say they're not cut out for rugby league and want to pursue a career in boxing, perhaps. Then you can pay out the player without an impact on the salary cap, only for said player to re-emerge 6 months later at a new club
This is very true. Problem is no one would believe Lawrie could take up boxing. Is there any other sport that's believable... maybe hot dog eating?

The boys on NRL360 think that Stefano will leave the Tigers and sign up with the Bulldogs. If that happens, wow. Just wow. There is no stopping them. That Gould guy must have some magical power to get things done. I will be amazed if they get this kid from the Tigers. The Dogs aim is certainly winning the premiership next year, if not this year.

Good luck to them. I wouldn’t pay that sort of coin for a player who hasn’t really proved himself yet. It’s a roll of the dice. Another example of an over inflated market in my opinion.

I think Bulldogs are offering Stefano around 700k which is probably what he's worth. He was asking for 900k from us which is way overs. Will be interesting to see where he goes but i think Bulldogs have got him considering he just confirmed he'll be leaving Tigers in 2025.

Remind me again how the Bulldogs are the "family" club? FMD. Gus must have stolen one of Uncle nicks extra large sombreros and together with dogs version of the Storms multiple salary cap ledgers to fit them all in. Still a shit football club in a shit area of Sydney.

Being careful not to offend anyone here. It is hard to see the appeal of going there.
