Im torn because I think at the bare minimum we need a 1st grade prop in our squad for depth.. but I know full well that watching Welch in the finals, he was so clearly not up to the pace anymore.. now.. maybe he was carrying injuries, but it was like watching the storms equivalent of a Blake Lawrie.

So its a tough call to take that guy on for 1-2yrs.. despite us being a prop short.. maybe we just have to buck up and be patient.. and try to find someone more left-field.... even if we cant get it done by round 1.

You'd need a PhD in Mathematics with a Lawyer's Doctor of Juridical Science qualifications, be a marketing/spin doctor guru who has engaged a very qualified & creative accountant/chief financial officer.

Then you'd still not fully understand the intricate details of the Salary Cap rules.
