I can’t get the time he was dropped mid game against us out of my head. When you struggle against a Griffin’s Dragons team you’ll have question marks over you. His career just hasn’t taken off and I’m cold on the idea but might be worth a one year contract.

One of first games in 1st grade and JD panicked but again he was not the sole reason the Bunnies were down 26-0 or similar. He did drop the ball once. Next time he played us he carved us up.

I'd rather have Doueihi than Ilias. I can recall Doueihi playing well at 5/8 (against us), I don't remember Ilias being anything other than serviceable. Could be just my faulty memory though. They're both a risk given their injury history, but Douehi is a big lanky bloke & I reckon a combo of Doueihi at 5/8 and Kyle at half would go OK.

My mate works at Souths. Says Ilias is likely playing hooker this year if he stays. They do not rate him. He's behind not only the English guy they signed but also a young kid from Manly Jamie Humphreys

I guess if we're signing him for one year as a bridge until we sign Atkinson or another quality half I can deal with it... and perhaps LKT can really rise up and assume the gig in the meantime with Ilias in reserves. I dunno... not enthused
