From memory, his get out clause doesn't kick in till midway through 2026, but then has options in his favour to play for Parra till 2031

So unless Parra grant him permission to negotiate he'll only get one season with Gutho, then you would also expect Brown would want a contract till 2031 with us.

I'm more interested in your opinion of Brown as a player in the REDV and whether you can see value?

Dragons midway next year should be smart about signing Shane Flanagan to a 3 year extension he is building a team that will be competitive long term. He has spoken on James Graham podcast quoting that his Father passed just after announcing he had signed to the Dragons .
His father a long time Dragons supporter would take him to games on the hill at kogarah when Shane was young boy and later was so proud he played in the lower grades for Dragons and now as coach .
Flanno has the passion and vision for the future and has no regrets on moving players on that don't want to play for the red v.
