Dude, I'm not on board. There was enough in evidence given in public that suggests he's the last person I'd want around my daughter and her mother. I don't like him because enough that's in the public domain - not just in online forums - suggests he's a dickhead. I remain uneasy about him being in the team and will be glad when his current contract ends and he won't be around any more.
At the end of the day the only people that can really judge and forgive JDB are his wife and family. That’s all he has to live by. Yes what he did was terrible and mentally he has to live with that forever. But his wife has decided to stand by him and forgive him. It may take a horrible event in someone’s life to change them into a better human.

Sounds like he is a good kid and good for back up. Not good about his shoulder injury (twice to same shoulder). I hope we have done our due diligence and wish him all the best of luck.
Sloan will now know what Lomax went through when Flanno decides your best position is on the wing.

With Beefing up for 2025, Saints could have a couple of capable wingers in Sloan and Lawson.

IMO Shane Flanigan is the best thing to happen to the club since Wayne Bennett.
I just don’t get how people cannot see it.
2025 is going to be a great season and 2026 I can see us challenging for the top 4.
We are building something special, if you can’t see it yet then time to open your eyes and enjoy the ride.
Well I hope you are right
In my opinion the ball is in Flanos court
Succeed and you get an extension.
Fail and you are on your bike.
No more excuses.
Anything less then the 8 in my opinion is a Failure for 2025
Do you agree ?What do people think ?
We have to draw the line somewhere when reviewing success.
Just making the 8 is no great achievement, it just means you have done better then half the competition
Imagine Penrith considering success as making the 8

What percentage of married people or people in long-term, "committed" relationships do you think have sex outside their relationships? One reported figure for Australia puts it at 60% for men and 45% for women.

The world is full of men and women who are "not nice." That would includes lots of NRL footballers and other high profile sportsmen who on a regular basis get offered "no strings sex" (which doesn't in fact exist, as JDB discovered). Many of these cheaters you would no doubt barrack for and regard as top blokes.

As far as I am concerned, this matter is between JDB and his wife, who seem to have got over the matter with less trauma than some people on this thread.

That's a bit judgemental. Not everyone lives their lives by whatever religious codes the "majority" believe in. Not even people who subscribe to those religious beliefs follow their rules. Humans are promiscuous, always have been, always will be. I doesn't mean they're bad, that's ridiculous. And "no strings attached sex" not only exists it can be very rewarding.

It is heart breaking initially when things like affairs happen to you, but as the saying goes, there are soooo many fish in the ocean to catch and you start all over again. I'm proof of that seeing that I am married to my third wife and thank goodness touch wood our 33 years together will be for another 33 years.

Wow can you imagine what the tries will look like with those two on the wings. We will have plenty of back ups in the back line, it's the front row forwards I want strengthening.

Was the poor young fella not an adult? And what was the "astray" part? What do you know about this other fellow? Was he about to enter the priesthood just when JDB snatched him off the streets and introduced him to an unknown world of debauchery? As far as you know, he might have been as degenerate and morally corrupt as the Marquis de Sade.

Maybe. But we don't know, you pompous knucklehead.

They had a threesome with a woman. Not illegal. Many nowadays would not even regard it as improper.

So what?
You obviously didn’t follow the case very closely nor did you read the transcripts.

The young women obviously didn’t believe it was “proper” you imbecile.

To answer the “so what” part of your post perhaps you might like to sit with the young women and her family and tell her your interpretation of events.

Marriage is hard Dave and can become complex. It causes people to drift apart. I tip my hat to everyone who is married long term. Things are always very different when you are young.

Yep, completely agree with all that.
Unless there are mitigating circumstances, we should make the 8 this year, less than that is failure.
I’m optimistic, today I was talking to a Roosters supporter and expressed why I think Dragons will play finals next season, he was deadset laughing out loud at me. We have little respect at the moment, that’s about to change.

Easts? Aren't they losing half of their team? And they were just chasing after one of our cast-offs. He who laughs last, I think. We will see who makes the semis.

Without writing an essay... certainly I am judgmental. It is part of being rational and analytical. And ofc I recognize the persistence of human promiscuity.

I also recognize that communities and societies that do not have stable family life based on trust between men and women as their central organizing principle very quickly become impoverished, failing and crime ridden.

Yep, I certainly know how hard marriages can be and how complex and difficult things can get. Most marriages have problems but if you strongly love one another, you can overcome any adversities.

I appreciate your words justa. Take it easy mate.

We are not Penrith and a few years behind them in the cycle of rebuilding the club. Flanno inherited a shit show and is well underway to making us successful again. The Nepotistic appointments and the jobs for the boys appointments wasted more than a decade.

Hey, Stupid. Shawn Adams, a detective in the JDB case, PERJURED HIMSELF and - it is my understanding - had some kind of familial or personal relationship with the accuser.

As a police officer (!) - for heaven's sake - he gave false evidence under oath against two innocent men, vindictively and evilly attempting to destroy their lives and families.

So I hope you will forgive me if I have little faith in the words or "interpretations" of such notorious people.

Now, try to defend that, you idiot.
