Pearce got a solid 8 weeks for his drunken mutt antics. The only person he damaged was himself.

Flanno got a thrashing the first time around with the sharks and it was barely his fault.

Madge was already weaselling on about his recovery when Mam went to the rehab.

The b.hunt mam should have gone to rehab before he almost smoked the kid and family.

Shows the NRL admin bias in favour of certain clubs

if he was an STGI player he would have been deregistered or suspended for 12 months.
Well it certainly doesn’t help these type of perceptions.

They’ve set an ugly precedent now and every player who gets into trouble will compare themselves to Mam.

Using the sick example of Tyrone May, after he taunted everyone who disapproved of him post grand final, it took sponsors, third parties and board members within the club to put pressure on the board to sack him.

My point is that his just deserts came from within the club itself.

It took 8 weeks for the panthers to sack him, they also had to overcome the fact that he was Nate’s best bum buddy, Ivan had written a reference for him.

Most people I know thought it was disgusting… including a couple of powerful panther mods here.

The Panthers tried to let it go, but as time went on, it didn’t go quiet, instead the furore got louder and louder and his position became untenable.

No one in their right mind is too keen on convicted perverts talking themselves up.

So It will be interesting to see what the Broncos do with mam.

If they go soft, I expect some sponsors will walk. It’s just too terrible association to have.

Especially for Kia given the circumstances. There is their hard earned brand name on a drug driver, driving unlicensed who almost killed a family. That’s not going to help their name or push sales. If I was them, given the green light this guy has, I’d pull their sponsorship. Mam is poison to them.

People will see him on TV, remember his crimes and see him commending and/or representing Kia. I wouldn’t want my company on his jersey, a car company is significantly worse.

I guess the Broncos got the qld sovereign citizen justice system and the vile nrl to pass the buck to.

Spot the difference:

Hey bro what’s up?

$1m a season, better turn on the seriousness, sorrow and regret.

And let’s ask ourselves if the NRL and QLD justice system are any different to mam.

Merry Xmas SGI. Look after yourselves.

One of the many absurdities of this is the financial penalty he copped from the joke of a judicial system. An $850 fine on his Bronco's salary. Yeah. Right. That'll teach him a lesson he'll never forget. Shitting in his boots over that one.
We're waiting to see if the NRL and Bronc's have the testicular undercarriage to do the right thing
My monies on they don't and won't.

9 weeks is a joke but whats the bet behind the scenes they played the " his heads not in a good space because of the incident in vegas " didnt spencer cop 8 weeks for that comment ?
9 weeks driving without a licence ( therefore uninsured) driving with illicit drugs in system crossing into wrong lane totally 2 cars injuring 3 people ... BUT I got thrown into rehab to make it look good Im working on a building site for free BUT bronx are still paying me .... Yep old santy has looked after ezra I wonder what huge penalty broncos will give him ??
I bet they will hit him with a nominal fine and say "see you in June 2025".

The entire Mam thing is a joke and a huge cop out by the judicial system, NRL & the Broncos.

Mam should now be subject to continuous unannounced drug testing for the rest of his career.

In season and out of season, before training after training, 4pm, 1am any old time etc etc etc.

Any breach during the season instant ban for the remainder of that year plus the next 18 months and any breach after that see you later find a new job.

Shouldn't be too hard to sell after all he's been in rehab hasn't he?

Thank you for your post OT. No leniency to be shown to him next time and there will be a next time when he might just slip up and have that substance in his system.

Except where the a majority of all our juniors come from. It is not forgotten
This is grossly over stateed.d We don't own these juniors and because of this most NRL clubs pick the eyes out of the available junior talent.

The Illawarra Junior's District is comparable to the Panthers; however, thanks to Gould, the Panthers have a superior managed system when it comes to their Junor District and pathways system.

We used to be the most professional Club in the NRL until Frank Facer's last day as CEO. Since then, both St George Leagues Club, a junior network, and our NRL Club have gone downhill.

Chin up, we are now roaring back! And by the way, possm, where are we going to put Lawson once he proves that he is an absolute try-scoring rocket? Nice problem to have.

I do not doubt that Lawson will be a revelation when selected as one of our NRL wingers. Like Creagh and Maddison, he will be one of the most damaging wingers in the game and potentially one of the top try scorers as well.

Not to mention that it was the 3rd or 4th time he has had his license suspended as well, so he is a multiple repeat offender.

I didn’t realise it was so many times.

It sickens me to see how people faun over such undisciplined, self entitled grubs.

To think people will be out there cheering him on go Ezra go is beyond belief.

But if anyone boos him they’ll be called a racist and probably banned from the ground for a year minimum if not permanently.

He seems to be a protected "species" of what type, I am not too sure!!
