I don't know about Dylan Brown.....always looks promising but from my recollections didn't really deliver much when Moses was injured last season. For the cash he is on I think it was his chance to stand up.

I have said all along I can’t judge him as he has coached no team yet and I asked you and you never replied what evidence do you have to back up that he would of been a better option than Flanno!

Of course he didn't know Ryles was coming but he'd be a idiot if he didn't understand Arthur, without a premiership, likely to be gone well before 2031, hence the clauses.

Having said that- Brown is dreaming if he thinks he's going to better 900K over the next 5-6 years. IMO he is overpaid now. He's an expensive foil for Moses.

Re Brown not liking the Ryles coaching option so is looking elsewhere are you now telling me his distaste for Ryles is SO GREAT he is willing to leave the code and or country to escape him. That in effect is what you are saying on the basis of his player manager sticking out more feelers than you can possibly imagine and that’s simply laughable. Brown is looking for whatever upgrades he can get just like that miserable merkin Hunt.

Re Ryles ability you know it’s a loaded question do why ask it. I have more than once stated why I think he will succeed but us there proof no there is not however based on what I see and hear of him I made a decision on him and it wasn’t out of spite to S F.

I detested the peptides and ban saga and it made me dislike S F as a person that’s for sure & I dint want that stain at the club I support. I posted last year that life is too short for some to hold that grudge so have accepted that he is here and is coach.

At my age I am more than capable of analysing him purely from a coaching perspective and have done so for some time.

Am I attracted to the style he had at the Sharks or with us last year clearly not. Do I think he could have done better last year clearly yes why might you ask in simple terms some horrendous selection blunders, terrible defensive issues, pandering to Hunt and not dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s on the things that he said he would.

Why do I put koi’s on him well in all professional sports lack of koi’s leads to exactly where we are and I for one detest that. Others maybe including you don’t want a bar of koi’s and see them as a negative all the time allowing you hedge your bets.

I note S F talking about a new style of play I am looking forward to that and will openly applaud it if it makes us attractive and more than competitive as I sai before my 2 favourite coaches in this era were Waite & Browny and if I see anything like that from S F I’ll be pleased but if I don’t see that don’t expect me to pay lip service to him.

I have been re-watching some 2024 games and one thing I have noticed is that when we played up-tempo with a good line speed, we won. And when other sides did it to us and came up fast in defense, we crumbled. The centers would get poor ball, although Suli did his best and often carried well.

What is the answer to that? Big rampaging forwards? Kicking in behind? Standing deeper?
