If Molo gets a release, do you think Lodge may sign as was reported late last week? Keen to hear a Dragons opinion on this.

I thought Lodge was not a terrible idea, but not for two years. Two one year contracts would be more sensible. We knocked back RCG bcs he wanted three years. Even JDB and Eisenhuth only got one year in their last contracts. Seems Flanno has some idea that he could get lucky in the next two years and wants to keep his powder dry.

So we are light on NRL props. Got some good young ones in NSW Cup but If brought on too early they could get their confidence damaged. But also Flanno is not going to block any young talent.

It could be a very tough year unless Flanno pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

Agree- Lodge wasn't a terrible idea and with his NRL ban and injury , being only 29, he has had less time on the paddock than most middles his age, therefore more longevity? (Like JDB)

Last year when not injured he was one of Manly's best

I would have been OK with 2 yrs

Don’t worry about the idiots in this place if you want to post something meaningful please do so and if it warrants response there are many that will do so in a friendly & respectful manner.

There are some that troll and eat their own in this place so be prepared for that but on the whole it has some good people who just want to talk footy and if that’s you good on you.

I mean if a workmate follows another team and wants to talk footy is the idiot that tried to dissuade you gonna say get f**ked you don’t follow St GI so I won’t talk to you.

I think we have some cash. We have spent good money on backs. We have re-signed the couchies and LPT. And doubtless we have scoured the Qld comps for big middles. But nothing. And not even for 2026. For example, Tom Hazleton can be aproached for 2026. Playing well in a well-coached side. Apparently we are not interested, but replacements have to come from somewhere.

These kinds of mysteries make following this club a bit like following a soap opera.
