He is a wild card. I remember watching a game we played at Panthers when he was there and he monstered our forwards. Discipline his Achilles…

I had thought SGI was a fairly caring club who stood by players in crisis. Never gave up on JBD, let Amone train, allowed Lomax to have his anniversary do and gave Bunt the benefit of the captaincy although he was taken off publicity.

Even gave Lucy a chance after his serious transgressions.

You’ve been like a unicef for troubled players sometimes. Too kind for some.

So If he can’t find the love here, I fear his expectations are too high.

I'm very disappointed that this matter has arisen at a time when we need at least two really good props to be competitive in 2025.

If his manager says he wants out then let him go now.

I agree, Possm. It's really unfortunate timing for us. The fact that he has stated he doesn’t want to return for training suggests he’s been struggling or thinking things over for some time. Why wasn’t this brought to light before November 1, rather than just before the season begins? I understand that if he has genuine personal issues, this might seem harsh, and I feel a bit bad saying this, but it does seem like the timing could have been handled better.

I have no idea about this guy as I do not watch Canberra in depth. I cannot recall seeing a lot of him in first grade?

Can he bend the line and get offloads away?

Does he have mongrel?

Adding a Matt Lodge-type player as many suggest to the Dragons current squad doesn't change anything. There aren't many middles that I think would be worth pursuing, but if Cronulla end up offloading Braden Hamlin-Uele, he could actually impact games. If both Molo & Ackers are write-offs, the current depth chart reads:

Lock: Jack de Belin, Tom Eisenhuth, RFM, Finau Latu, Hamish Stewart
Second-Row: Jayden Su'a, Luciano Leilua, Dylan Egan, Ryan Couchman, RFM (S: N. Tsouagranis, T&T: Halangahu)
Prop: JDB, Toby Couchman, Blake Lawrie, Loko Pasifika Tonga, Hame Sele, RFM, Michael Molo, V. Fifita (S: BMM)
Hooker: Damien Cook, Jacob Liddle, Kyle Flanagan

If you lose Molo & Ackers, ugrade: Halangahu to Supplementary, sign BHU to Top 30 and keep the 30th spot open for a hooker. Not having a third hooker is dangerous imo.
