The monkey comment got Leniu 8 weeks suspension and a free course in P C.

It is generally accepted it was D Y without him being directly named.

It is also generally accepted that the comment was about Frank & alcohol which he has abstained from for 18 months.
Generally accepted? So if enough people perpetuate a rumour it must be true? Could you do me a favor and frame your comment that your only speculating on rumour. Will save me from thinking ive missed some factual element to the story.

Oh for f**k's sake...

All this dribble about Molo. Is the guy a man or a complete snowflake?

In my life, if I have ever had a problem with what a friend has said, I've brought it up, hashed it out, and moved on. I'm sure if Francine took offence to something that was said, if he'd just been a man and approached the person about it, he would have received an apology, because I'm sure it wasn't meant to offend him or said with any malice, and you shake hands and move on.

THAT'S WHAT MEN DO!!!!!

All this garbage about what's "acceptable" in a workplace. If people don't understand that a first-grade football team is a different work environment to most, then they're clueless.

Honestly, I think some of you should be following netball and not rugby league.
AGREE !!!!
Although those gorgeous netball players are pretty tough Haa

Manly pre-season scrimmage: Clint

Gutherson shines

Clint Gutherson's impact on St George-Illawarra has been immediate with the experienced fullback poised to prove one of the buys of the year.

Gutherson's leadership and communication was the glaring takeaway from a scrimmage session against Manly held behind closed-doors at Jubilee Oval on Friday morning.

The crucial 60-minute hitout was held under game conditions with almost all of the Dragons and Sea Eagles big guns including Valentine Holmes, Lachlan Ilias, Daly Cherry-Evans, Tom Trbojevic and Jake Trbojevic taking part in the session.

SAINT GUTHO

With only staff members from both clubs, injured players, a couple of security guards and The Daily Telegraph allowed inside Jubilee Oval, the bellowing voice of Gutherson reverberated across the grand old ground.

From fullback, the former Eels star marshalled the Dragons around the field like a relentless cattle dog, barking directions and raucously applauding his teammates every tackle and carry.

His defensive line organisation was relentless, still screaming at his middle forwards to shift left of the ruck despite there only being two seconds remaining on the clock.

WATCHFUL SLOAN

Standing behind Gutherson for almost the entire hitout was 2024 fullback Tyrell Sloan.

Sloan has been nursing a foot injury and was held back from the game simulation.

From under the goalposts, Sloan watched and listened eagerly at how Gutherson guided the Dragons back, forth and sideways with his voice.

Gutherson arrived at the Dragons declaring his desire to make Sloan a better player and the latter is clearly taking notes.

LOCKED-IN LACHIE

You could see the confidence of Dragons recruit Lachlan Ilias increase as the session wore on.

In his first serious hitout since suffering an horrific leg injury 10-months ago, Ilias looked sharp on the right-edge for the Dragons.

He combined perfectly on several occasions with right-edge backrower Jayd'n Sua, while he also was happy to test the line with his running game.

The new-look spine combination of Gutherson, Ilias, Kyle Flanagan and Damien Cook was far from stuttering, but instead fluent and well-balanced.

Thanks for sharing.

I think it's clear Flanagan has made the most of a pretty tough situation in player movements. It is the year of positivity. We need to back these guys, even when they falter.

You put that jersey on and try your guts out, stick to the game plan, you get my support.

So Ilias and Sua. Good. So that means KF on the left where he was good last year.

Dhl,
Sounds like Gutho has already proved his value to us in this first hit out with his leadership quality. Has already showed how lacking last years captain was.

Now let's see how we go against easts in actual game conditions
Hopefully ilias continues improving with fitness and game management

Thanks for sharing, a big difference in the report from the same “closed door” session last year. Would love to know how some of the forwards performed But no surprise Gutho was a stand out, he will prove to be one of our best signings for a number of years IMO. Can’t wait for the season to start !
