Our top 30 is full so cap space or not we couldn’t fit him once they decided they wanted guler. That’s why they offered him t&t which understandably he turned down. I suppose we will find out over the course of the season whether guler or lodge play better.
If we release unhappy Molo effective immediately then we can sign a happy alpha prop ( if available )

All of this talk about needing a prop (myself included) where the easiest solution is to get the players
We have already to fire!
Get Big Luciano firing and fix whatever the issue is with Ravawala. Man, that guy looks lost and broken. get the wellbeing and psych's onto him asap. He used to be a weapon. Sh*t get Cake working out HARD and scoring tries!!

may as well get something for our money

I don't know how you are going to do it Mr Flanagan but it's time to weave your magic. (And to sack the staffer who says toxic things to players)

I honestly don't think we're securing a top line prop for 2025 at this late stage. I think we're better off sorting molo out and getting him up and running again. He can go at the end of the season if we get a decent replacement. Surely when he understands the club hasn't granted a release he'll realise he needs to get back on the field if he wants a club to take him on for 2026 and beyond. Besides his brother's contracted for 2025 so it makes sense if they both finish up then.

I’d say Molo is done, how can someone go back to work when they outright just stop showing up? Couchman will be improved out of sight, one more would be nice but not a deal breaker

Even 450k is slight overs for Hazleton. Bloke scores a couple of tries as a front rower and turns into a bit of a cult figure and suddenly we're undercutting him with that offer? Not at all. Hazleton isn't that good and in all honesty for what he offers 375-400k is about what his actual value is. He doesn't defend particularly well, especially on the goal line, and doesn't provide good quality for long minutes. Upgrade on Lawrie easily, but in terms of our top 17, he's an upgrade on Eisenhuth and that's about it. You could argue he's better than Sele simply on availability alone, but if Hame is available, he's the better player. Wouldn't be paying anywhere over 450k for this bloke, 600k is absolutely laughable, and if anyone does pay that then good luck to them

Wishing u guys the best for this season, I think u have a decent team on paper, and will get close to the 8
Thanks for the wishes and hopefully you are correct.

Very different times ahead for your team and a big hole had been previously dug to get yourselves out of

Hopefully your team, supporters & admin get right behind the big fella and by seasons end you are heading in the right direction.

NB: Thanks for Gutho he’s a beauty.

Saints have already blown Knights out of the park with there offer of 450k which the Knights have now dropped out, so why throw in a ton of cash when you don't need to. It's out of Saints or Dolphins last I heard and I feel that should swing Saints way significantly due to location, unless Dolphins pay him 600k or so. Saints are playing it smart. If Dolphins do put a bid in say 500k or even 550k Saints will probably match it but I doubt they will as they have quite a few players on good coin.

Saints have a lot of good youngsters coming through in the forwards like Latu, Tonga, Couchmen etc. What is to say they don't have breakout seasons. It's not at all rare these days. Saints will then need to cash to retain them. If Saints throw all their money away to other players from other clubs, then teams like the Dogs, Souths, Roosters will swoop in and take them and everyone will blow up deluxe as to why the Saints did not keep them. It is risky but Flanno must see something in training that gives him faith that these kids will go well in 2025. For Saints to make the 8 they need to.

Quite easily Young Dragon, he's been granted leave so he's currently not in breach of his contract. If they can resolve the issue he's got with the particular staff member (which they're trying to do) then he could well come back.

Webb has specifically said that they knocked back his request for a release. We'll see. If he goes you're not replacing him with quality at this point in pre-season, not a chance.

Hope you know something we don't but at 450K i beleive it keeps the Sharks in play so the location is a non factor.
