Hopefully the younger players show good form in the trials which would make releasing Molo a bit more attractive. If we release him, I don't want him playing against us this year. I wouldn't be surprised if we told the manager we'd be open to releasing him if he found us a suitable replacement.

I know Bennett has mentioned Souths were trying to get a few players off their books due to a tight salary cap but failed to do so. I wonder if there's a forward we could nab? Maybe a davey moale (off contract 25) or sean keppie (off contract 26)?
One thing that has come out of the trials is that we definitely need a couple of big bodies who can provide PCMs around the ruck and hit hard in defense. Ofc we all knew this but it is kind of urgent. I don't want Toby worked to death at a young age against monsters.

Could be a possibility now as he may have played his last game for the Tigers as reported this evening according to the article one Sydney club is keeping an eye out on the situation & did hear a swap for Molo but unsure how true.
I’d take Klemmer, we need a big body up front for this season and they’re not exactly falling out of the trees. I know most people would say f**k Klemmer but we don’t really have a choice. Better than pissing and moaning all season whinging that we’re one prop short

If it's a swap with Molo why not. He doesn't want to be here so he is literally pointless having on the list. And the media can't bag us for letting go of Former origin prop Molo for Klemmer who has played alot more games then he has when it comes to Rep footy it's a win win

I watched Klemmer a few times last year, and based on that I can draw a few conclusions:
1. He still plays OK, makes hard yards, doesn't get turtled.
2. Every game I watched he was penalized for doing something stupid.
3. Every penalty came at a crucial moment of the match, swinging momentum back to the opposition.
4. After each penalty, there would be a close-up of Klemmer with a stupid expression on his face.

Pluses and minuses I suppose. Not too fussed either way.

Really depends if flanno thinks he can stop the stupid errors penalties .. and who knows if this rumour has any truth to it

Robbo should have made more Grand Finals. Winning the GF is a different kettle of fish, but Robbo has been poor.
He’s had a similar hand to Wayne at the Broncos before he came (mercifully) to us in 09.

A far inferior coach to Bennett, but way better than Browny when he had us

His limitations are starting to show. His system is outdated. The cattle is gone.

Uncle Nick is shrewd. He’s setting Robbo up for the gun imo.

We might just have to suck it up this year by the looks of it.

luckily, the back five is far superior and will aid the middles, barring mass casualties.
