I'm not going to write out the timeline, but we were very vulnerable as the 2024 season kicked off.. Frank is on fire.. clubs want him.. and if we had lost Frank then, without Sua, JDB, Couchies, Tonga etc etc signed up.. plus our inability to get signatures at the time.. it could have almost not had a forward pack for 2025... and at the very least those players would have us over a barrel in negotiations.
So yes Michael Molo was maybe a mistake.. but not a big one imo.. and maybe he was a necessary evil.. and hes not a bad bloke to have in the system.. we just have a few too many of his calibre.
In any case.. hopefully the article is right and hes good to move his family overseas... I just wish a couple more would be open to it.
