Not only obnoxious but so blatantly obvious that even an idiot can recognise how f..ked things are. Variations of refereeing standards, some clubs that consistantly appear to get favourable decisions at the judiciary, questions about how some clubs can buy multiple marquee and still be underthe salary etc, etc.
In fact I now struggle to watch any games where the Dragons don't feature win, lose or draw.
A player draft is long overdue.

Although Ben Rumble is 21. He might soon be ready for a few backline spots.
He's a funny one, hes too old for Flegg now so hes sort of stuck in Limbo.. he ended up a really solid tall boy, I think physically would make an excellent winger.. possibly too slow for fullback anymore, even thought thats where he excelled in lower grades... but his footwork, height, size, speed once moving.. it all works.

My only issue with him, it seems his hands are letting him down, a lot of balls have gone down this year, or maybe its his hands <> brain reaction time is a little bit slow for this faster grade, which might rectify itself in time/experience.. its just tricky for him with the mass of wingers we have currently, hes only getting the odd game in nsw cup.

The other thing is we need less wingers more centres, so even if we can shed ravalawa for 2026, were gonna need 1 or 2 to convert to legit centres (Lawson is the that seems to be pushed), but maybe 1 from external.. not sure what Buchanans timeline is.

I would love to see a good experienced halfback paired with Atkinson in 2026. Sure we can trial LKT and maybe even Reed, but I think both of these two are not experienced enough to do the job.

So, any suggestions on who should be our halfback for 2026?

Plenty of time this year for Kyle or ilia’s to step up. Not convinced they will, but every chance

Everyone is criticising Ilias for his poor game against Souths… sure he didnt ice the end of the match but neither did 12 other log s who stood and watched the field goal.

my question is what other aspects of his game were so terrible… I saw him set up his backs well, tackle well and ran reasonably… so where was he so terrible??

Ilias should have been doing what is expected of a first-grade halfback: kicking long into the corners and chasing his kicks.

He should have know to close the game with a field goal.
