Yes, I defended myself. That is the way of it. I am aware that people on the left find it impossible to accept that others might be permitted to express a contrary opinion, that the left believes it should be able to shout down disagreers whenever the leftists - uninvited and unprovoked - drop their foul-mouthed ad hominems, but I believe in, beyond a point, fighting back.

The objections to Musk are hard to understand on a practical level, except for the fact that criminals and political interests object to him trying to put a finger in the dyke of graft, corruption, kivkbacks, theft and waste that is the US budget.

For example, the US Treasury disperses vast amounts of money every year. Where does it go? To whom? For what? Let's audit it and find out.

But guess what DOGE has found. It CANNOT BE AUDITED bcs no receipts are kept for the spending. Musk wants to fix that. Who in the world would object to that?

Largely a nothing burger in terms of conspiracy
