I actually don't see the reported dropping of Ilias as a bad thing.

You have to remember, he had a long time out of the game with that broken leg. I feel Ilias is a good player, however, he's a confidence player, and he's playing like someone whose confidence isn't where it should be.

A stint in KOE Cup maybe the right move to regain that confidence without being in the spotlight and in particular the media bloodhound's sites.

A lot has also been said about KFlan, and I agree with most of it. However, at this stage of the season he is the better option at 7. If LKT is selected at 6, then they will form a good halves pairing. I don't think Glover is a first-grade option at this stage.

Also, just one point to add. If Holmes gets injured or spends time in HIA etc, who takes the kicks for goal? That would have to be KFlan imo, and it's a reason why we would retain him in first grade. If you've seen Glover's conversion rate you would also understand.

It's nepotism plain and simple. Would rather put our mascot at 7 then endure the invincible one any longer oh wait he is signed until the end of 2027.. how did we get so lucky?

Allow Ilias some time in the lower grade to gain confidence and then bring him back if his form warrants it .

But it is good to see both of the young guns , more so LKTonga finally being in the top grade - I wish then every success .

Flanno has it in with his halves. He did not get on with Hunt and now Illias. If your surname is not Flanagan you get scrutinised by the looks of things. Could be the reason Saints can't attract players not our recruitment manager. That is all they need, this type of rumour to surface, I hope it is just BS.
