Not sure why you think Twiggy is going to do anything. Probably has never heard of us.

UnRumour.
As in "I'm sorry, you've tossed a lot of bullshit"
Atko will be with Cronulla until seasons end.
Woods made up some scenario he thought would work, and the lazy media have gone with it without checking their sources.

I'm hearing Laurie Daley won't be picking Terrel May for SOOI
Apparently due to defensive issues?
he missed 3 tackles against the Storm
previously, I believe (But can't confirm) he went 8 games without a missed tackle

he leads 2025 offloads 33
He's second 2025 (behind Carrigan) in runs 200
He's second 2025 (behind Cotter) in decoy runs 92
he's 6th in run meters (behind 3 fullbacks, Haas and Carrigan)
He's made 26 line breaks 2025 (26th) only a handful of props ahead
His minutes per game are phenomenal

I groaned when Daley was announced NSW coach
Too bloody conservative

Bet Jurbo gets picked
I actually agree with not picking May. He has been defensively suspect. Against us, he was awful. 2 or 3 of our players went straight through him for a clean line break up the middle. I think that would be the game that sealed his fate. Selectors might have been on the fence before that. I don't think, at least at this stage, May is an "origin player". I think he'd be exposed badly.

He is a quality, fit player who gets through a lot of work and has an offload in him. He is not yet at that top tier. He's been good this year with ball in hand, but in general it's been a bit overblown in terms of how good he's been.

Each year I watch Tigers games mostly because it makes me feel better about following the Dragons. Haha!

This year Terrel May, who is second on the Dally M leaderboard, has been outstanding and has an overall 91.6 per cent tackle efficiency rate. But there is still talk about 'attitude' & 'not ready'

If you're one of the best - you are ready!

In a prop rotation of Payne Haas, Mitch Barnett and Spencer Leniu - I reckon May would have a field day. His stats outshine the other potential props - Jacob Saifiti, Max King and Stefano Utoikamanu. His 'game minutes' put all but Haas to shame.

I hear your concerns, but I'd take Terrel May in a heartbeat as NSW prop.

Then is their strength and endurance not included in their fitness regime? I thought we signed some great fitness staff who would get the players to play with a lot of energy for the whole 80 minutes? Line speed is one of the biggest factors in defence to stop the opposing team from gaining too much ground before kicks and of course stop scoring tries. Same as in attack.

The speed and conditioning coach for the St George Illawarra Dragons is Kelly Penfold. She also works as a Speed and Conditioning Coach for the Catalans Dragons. Is she doing a good enough job for the StGI Dragons?

Other strength and conditioners are:-
  • Ciriaco Mescia: Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.
  • Nathan Spencer: Strength and Power Coach.
  • Kelly Penfold: Speed and Conditioning Coach.
  • Sam Hutton: Head Strength and Conditioning Coach (Jersey Flegg).
  • Kieran Fraser: Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach.
  • Riley Kerr: Jersey Flegg Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.
  • Annie-Rose Gough: Strength And Conditioning Coach.
So are these people just not been doing a good enough job for the club if we can only get 20 minutes of good line speed from the players before they "peter out"?
Keep punching Dragon Dave💪💪💪🙏👍

They do at other clubs. TPAs
Yeah - the possibilities are endless

1. A Roof-Snow Clearer - not much work in Wollongong but pays well
2. Chief Listening Officer - report back on on-line fan feed back
3. Wind Farm Watcher - Advise when windmill stops turning
4. Professional Car watcher - Protect Twiggy's car at business meetings

all quality, high paying TPA's

Yes, I know how it works, but the smart clubs don't make sponsors of the companies that are going to provide the TPAs. You would think that Twiggy and Gordon would have fantastic networks where they could find these companies to provide lots of TPAs.

The whole idea of TPA’s is that they are paid for by companies that have no association with the player’s club. So club sponsors can’t pay for TPA’s.
So, it is just coincidence that when a player arrives at a club he receives a TPA that ends when the player leaves the club. The theory that business located in the clubs area choose to provide a new player a TPA in order to promote their business the that location just doesn't wash at it leaves so many questions unanswered and the TPAeasily subject to non-compliance with the rules.

I'd say the NRL should work with managers to find TPA sponsors that have a national brand. In addition, the life of these TPA's should not have beginning and end dates the same as the players contracct.
